Black Panther is a very entertaining movie so in one sense it's 'job done', but there's not a great deal of substance beneath the style. Far too many cliches, and plot developments that make little sense, despite it looking very fresh due to its largely African setting. After the character's impressive introduction in Captain America: Civil War, this is a little disappointing.
It's very easy to say that fans of Clerks will be disappointed because the unfortunate truth is that even fans of Jersey Girl, assuming there are any, will be disappointed. Nothing about this movie hangs together, from the half-witted plot, through the pointless dance number that hangs on the most tenuous of references to pad things out a bit, to the tired dialogue and second-rate gags. The cast look too bored, too old and too well fed to convince me that this is anything more than a cynical attempt to squeeze a few more dollars out of a very old idea.
I loved Smith's movies up to and including J&SBSB, but these days he's a man who's shot his wad and is now just shaking off the drops.

Oblivion doesn't take itself seriously and you shouldn't take it seriously either. While it makes a virtue out of cliche and easily achieves its aim of being "so bad that it's good" it has a wagon load of in jokes, half a dozen cult actors and one very sexy woman known as Lash. It's well worth top billing at a late night beer and pizza party.
