It may not be the popular opinion, but I think Falcon and the Winter Soldier is just as good as the Captain America movies. So much happens in that series. You have the chemistry between Sam and Bucky, which proves to be better than Bucky and Steve. You also have Barron Zemo as a great Anti Hero. Combine that with the conflict with Wakanda. You get the dark side of Sharon Carter and the real Villain Karlie. I'm not done, we meet Isaiah and his conflict with Bucky, Sam and everyone and it's all seasoned with the insecure John Walker.
There are so many moving parts that all play well together and against each other and culminated with Sam becoming Captain America.
This movie has none of that. They do a great job of masking the true villain here, but Sidewinder has some of the best on screen energy and he's reduce to a side character. Isaiah is back and although pivotal to the plot he is under and misused, and Joaquin is forced on us as the new Falcon in Training, but he has zero chemistry with Sam or anyone else. They want him to be like Ned to Spiderman, but you don't care about him and despite being bright, anyone could take on the tasks he does.
I think Harison makes a great stand in for Willaim Hurt, but again, the writing and story left him nothing to work with.
This Marvel run is embarrassing. This was a slap to Cap fans to black fans and the month of February. There was never a problem with Superhero Fatigue. The issue is bad writing, bad acting and bad direction. Sony is putting out trash, DC is in the toilet and Marvel forgot everything they taught us in the Infinity Saga.
I give up!

I never saw this show while it aired. I had heard of it, but as you know, the CW was not known for its quality of shows, I was completely shocked to see that this ran for 15 years and only decided to watch it after VUDU sold the complete series for $25. I had heard positive things about this, but after watching a season I can tell you it' complete garbage. It's a watered-down Grimm. I don't know which came first, but I know Grimm did it much better.
This is a YA, Tigetbeat, Disney channel young girl dream. As a man, I find no value in this. These kids aren't smart, they aren't tough, and they aren't interesting.
You can't get a refund from Vudu, but if I could sell back the 14 unwatched season, I would. I can't believe anyone loved this show and for anyone that claims it holds up, I question your maturity, no intelligent adult would appreciate this halfcocked Hardy Boys, low rated series.

I was hooked from the very first episode. The Jim Caviezel movie was extremely well done, but this series exceeds that masterpiece. With more time, you are able to weave more layers into this tale that requires it. The acting is almost all top shelf with a couple performances that are mediocre. The series has a solid pace and builds until episode 6. I found Episodes 7 and 8 drawn out and less than engaging. Sure, you get the ending you expect, but the magic was gone. A couple reveals in this series were far superior to the movie and a few were fer less impressive.
I 100% recommend you see this but also caution you that despite landing safely, they didn't stick it in my opinion.
