Soon-to-be-a-dad Michael makes a last-ditch effort to save his longtime but addicted friend Chris from a foreseeable drug related death. Visiting Chris and handcuffing him to an exposed plumbing pipe, Michael forces his buddy into detox, but while watching over his friend he also discovers that all is not right within the territory Chris has drifted into.

When it comes to meta experiments that blur those good ole lines between fiction and the filmmakers’ own non-fiction life stories, there’s a risk that the resulting feature can border on being impenetrable if audiences aren’t fed a load of exposition in advance. That’s far less of an issue for classically-told narratives from mega-famous artists delving into (semi)autobiography (like Steven Spielberg with “The Fabelmans”), but definitely so for smaller scale projects from independent filmmakers whose output is more peculiar. What can be a compelling behind-the-scenes story as described in a press kit may not necessarily translate into the finished feature as something engaging, or even coherent, to anyone coming to the work without the luxury of reading production notes before the screening.

He’ll play Puck, who is described as “a malevolent hobgoblin who serves as the royal jester to King Auberon of Faerie. Netflix finally unveiled an official teaser for the second season of The Sandman yesterday, and it featured a first glimpse of Esmé Creed-Miles as Delirium, Adrian Lester as Destiny, and Barry Sloane as The Prodigal.

Though we did get to see Delirium's face, her full visage was somewhat obscured, and this new behind-the-scenes photo gives us a better look at the Hanna star in-costume as the youngers of The Endless.

In Neil Gaiman's comics, Delirium is the current manifestation of the being that started out as Delight. The character is a little... mixed up, but is loyal to her family and proves to be an invaluable ally to Dream during the events of "Brief Lives."

Neil Gaiman’s beloved graphic novel series, “The Sandman,” has garnered a devoted following since its debut in the late 1980s. Fans have eagerly awaited its adaptation to the screen for years. Netflix fulfilled this dream with the release of the series in 2022, and anticipation is now high for its second season. After much anticipation, Netflix has unveiled a teaser, announcing new cast members and hinting at the series’ imminent return to the platform.

Netflix has shared a brief teaser for the second season of The Sandman, reintroducing the members of The Endless we met during season 1, Dream, Death, Desire and Despair, while providing our first glimpse of Morpheus' remaining siblings, Destiny, Delirium, and "The Prodigal."

Esmé Creed-Miles will play the youngest of the Endless, Delirium, while Adrian Lester will take on the role of the all-seeing Destiny, and Barry Sloane will play The Prodigal.

Anyone who has read Neil Gaiman's comic series will know who this really is, and while it wouldn't seem like much of a spoiler to reveal the name, it's clearly something the show is choosing to keep under wraps for the time being.

Esmé Creed-Miles, Adrian Lester and Barry Sloane have been cast in the series as Delirium, Destiny and The Prodigal respectively. These are the three remaining siblings of the Endless family.

Season 2 was announced first in November 2022 but the production itself was severely delayed by the Hollywood strikes in 2023. It looks like things are back on track as a new, very short teaser has been released.

Helmed by Michael Felker, in what marks his leap from editing to directing, with frequent collaborators Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson (Something in The Dirt) producing, this film is a time-twisting tale that packs a lot more than just temporal leaps.

Things Will Be Different throws estranged siblings Joseph (Adam David Thompson) and Sidney (Riley Dandy) into a temporal tangle that’s more twisted than spaghetti in a black hole. After a diner meet-up goes awry, they find refuge in an abandoned farmhouse that’s more than it appears. What initially seems like a lucky escape turns into a chronal puzzle, ensnaring them in a time they can’t easily zip back from.

Although Loki’s second season has been well received by fans and critics alike, most of the issues with the story so far have been about its nonsensical time travel plot, the scale (and impact) of its dying timelines, and Loki’s somewhat baffling need to save the Tva given that the multiverse is trying to free itself from He Who Remains’ temporal loom. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is causing quite a buzz in the MCU, but fans hoping for a seamless continuation from the Netflix series may be in for some disappointment. The upcoming show is set to be a soft reboot, with not all key members of Daredevil’s team making a return.

Adding to the letdown, fans will witness several episodes where Daredevil won’t be in his iconic suit. The focus of the show is shifting towards a legal drama, exploring Daredevil’s life post-hanging up his vigilante identity. This parallels Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, trying to leave his past behind.

Marvel Studios’ Daredevil television series has a new creative team.

Exclusive: U.S. and UK-based production, sales and financing company Alliance Media Partners (Amp) has signed a non-exclusive genre co-production deal with Quebec-based producer Philip Kalin-Hajdu.

The parties are coming off Tribeca thriller Suitable Flesh, and Fantasia debut The Sacrifice Game, respectively.

The deal is due to see the duo produce three new mid-budget pictures a year, utilizing Quebec and/or Canadian talent and incentives, and to include international co-productions. Their first project, action-thriller Skate Or Die, is in the works for early 2024.

Amp is part of Dubai-based Alliance Capital Partners group, a private asset management and finance company. In one of the big deals announced out of Canada’s Fantasia Film Festival, XYZ Films has boarded North American sales rights to “New Life,” John Rosman’s feature directorial debut which is hailed by Fantasia itself as “one of the major discoveries of Fantasia 2023.”
