Marilyn Monroe's every self destructive impulse was on overdrive during the filming of her last film, 'The Misfits', outside Reno in the summer of 1960. The stories of her pill popping, drinking and long absences from the set are legendary. This short film imagines a night sometime during those blistering weeks when booze and pills alone were not cutting it. Marilyn gets in her car and drives toward town, looking for something - anything - that is not the set and the tangle of soul crushing disappointment that it represents to her.
