Young Frankie is played by Bailey Coppola, a son of filmmaker Christopher Coppola and Adrienne Stout. Christopher Coppola and Nicolas Cage (born Coppola) are sons of - Francis Ford Coppola's elder brother - August Coppola and Joy Vogelsang. Bailey is Nicolas Cage's nephew, hence the startling resemblance.
This movie was initially supposed to be shot in Vancouver during February 2018, but changed shooting location to Cincinnati, Ohio. It was again changed to be shot in Kelowna, British Columbia.
