During the funeral scene Jim Broadbent's character suspects that Miss Shepherd would have confessed to her priest about killing the motorcyclist, but that the priest would be 'keeping mum' about it, i.e. keeping quiet. Maggie Smith played a murderous old lady in Keeping Mum (2005).
