Goofs
Beverly Hills Cop III (1994) is the first movie to show a romantic interest, and no child is ever mentioned in any of the previous films. That movie was 30 years prior (as confirmed when Bobby is going over Axel's file), but he says, very confidently, that his daughter is 32 years old. If her mother is Janice from Beverly Hills Cop III (1994), she couldn't be more than 29 years old.

Axel obviously has a life outside of what is depicted in the films, he could have met Jane's mother, had a child with her, and ended their relationship at any time prior to the events of the third film.

The first two films of the series, which were produced by Simpson and Bruckheimer, had no logo featured yet before its debut in Days of Thunder (1990). Like Top Gun: Maverick (2022) and Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024), the Simpson/Bruckheimer logo was remastered via CGI.

Rewind the 80s

It was a fun ride that had a lot of the original elements. Nothing new in terms of the plot but it was entertaining. It was nice to see most of the original cast show up throughout the film. Everyone is a lot older so don't expect a lot of physical action and fighting scenes, just a lot of bullets flying.

I said everyone is much older but the main start, Murphy, seriously doesn't look much older than he did in Beverly Hills Cop III. There's a scene with Eddie Murphy and Kevin Bacon in a room together. Bacon looks like the 65 year old OG he is but Murphy looks nowhere near his age of 63. 63! Let that sink in when you see him on screen. Unbelievable.
