Better than I thought. I felt like the humor fell pretty flat mostly. So in that aspect it was not that funny and not many laughs. But, as an action movie I found it quite entertaining. It kept me on the edge of my seat at some points and was actually very exciting throughout a large part of the movie with a few plot twists and well made action scenes. Some parts did not logically make sense to me but it really doesn't matter and does not effect my overall opinion of the movie.

My rating is honestly 6.5 but since it's not possible I'd rather give the benefit of the doubt - a 7, because of the fact that I was entertained.

Trouble is a very good comedy thriller. It is agood watch. I was not having a positive mind to watch this film. But as the film moved, started enjoying. Despite of the low budget Trouble is quite interesting film and better than big budget films with big starcast. Direction, story, script, editing and performances are superb. Besides, lengthwise, this film is short but moves at a great speed. Few times it gives feeling that oh the film ends so soon !!!! But then it takes a twist and moves on. Some of the punches made me laugh and felt sorry for the lead character. This film though there is no fights still it is full of action and thrills. Go for this film.

This was far better then i expected.

Theres been some time since i saw the original "Strul" from 1988, so i was pretty intrigued and interested when i saw the trailer for this reboot. I quickly recognised and was abit surprised of the wide range of familiar faces of the actors. Many famous Swedish actors in it.

This one was actually pretty good. Its one of these cozy, easy to watch, crime thriller/comedy.

I had some mixed feelings sometimes, because it lacks abit in the plot with some holes, but it manages to cover them up, with great acting and a pretty funny manuscript and storytelling.

Definitely worth watching!

I would loved to give it 10 Stars but sadly it happened what happens way to often in Movies and Series. Good Guy Fighting Bad Guy. Good Guy Manages to stun Bad Guy for a few Seconds and instead of getting the Weapon and defeat the enemy, good guy just runs away.

I fricking hate it when that happens because its just always a stupid decision and I cant like the good guy anymore after that. Especially when the good guy dies or lost everything after that.

Otherwise the Movie is very good, Except the Acting from a few people.

It was more comedic than Action but thats absolutly fine. The few Action Scenes were actually Pretty good.

The whole wrongfully imprisoned thing is what caught my eye for this one, but I didn't exactly watch enough of the preview to realize it was a foreign language film. So once again it's a balancing act of enjoying what's on-screen while trying to understand context by reading the subtitles.

This was an enjoyable film. It's a very standard film that is predictable if you're smart enough, but I didn't catch certain things soon enough. That being said, even though I felt a little foolish, I still enjoyed the film.

I liked the chemistry of the actors, the story had already caught my eye, and despite the 98 minute runtime you still get a complete beginning, middle, and end completion that is satisfying. A few things feel a bit beyond realistic, but it doesn't take away.

I would watch it again because it's entertaining and engaging. It's fun, and has a satisfying end. The chemistry of actors is good, and the cuteness between Filip Berg and Amy Deasismont is what kind of kept me going until the end. Again, it is a generic story about a wrongful conviction and a man just trying prove his innocence, but good chemistry keeps you until the end.

The non-English language films that are released on the global streaming service NETFLIX always allow for small discoveries. This is also the case with this crime comedy from Sweden, which is a remake of a story (STRUL / AUSGETRICKST by Jonas FRICK) from 1988.

The divorced television technician Conny (Filip BERG) is suspected of murder due to crazy circumstances and is sentenced to a long prison sentence. But there are inconsistencies that the busy police officer Diana (Amy DEASISMONT) comes across during her research. She does everything she can to convince the responsible inspector Helena Malm (Eva MELANDER) of her findings.

The director Jon HOLMBERG does not tell a world-shattering new story here, but he does so with such a sense of humor and sense of time that it is a lot of fun to watch his film. The cast is also excellent, which is particularly evident in the prison scenes. You can still see the Danish Olsen Gang as an example.

The main actors: Filip BERG is known as the young Ove in the successful Swedish film A MAN CALLED OVE / EN MAN SOM HETER OVE. Amy DEASISMONT was also a singer before her acting career. In 2008, she took eighth place at the Swedish MELODIFESTIVALEN, which is the country's preliminary round for participation in the EUROVISION SONG CONTEST. Eva MELANDER is best known for her role in BORDER.

Fast-paced, exciting and very funny! Recommended!

Strul or trouble is a swedish netflix film about a man called conney, his marriage is not great and he works at an electrics store that he genurally seems to enjoy doing. One night before he goes home a woman askes if he works there and his boss makes him install a tv that night, which is really annoying since he just clocked off. Things happen and his clients husband is murdered, he is wrongelly jailed for it and so the hapless man tries everything in his power to get himself out of jail and clear his name. The crime elements are done well ,there are a few fun times but its not overally funny but still a good enjoyable movie.

Trouble (2024) is on of the masterpiece movie compared to i have seeing so many movies since last few days. This movie is funny/ action and thrilling! This movie is really good interesting movie! The story was really interesting! In one word this is best movie for fun and thriller based movie. I will recommend it to watch to everyone. As compared to 2024 so many films this is really best. The actor really played well roles. Video quality and everything was top notch. I will definitely recommend it to watch for once and you will love this movie. I wish there is other movie also same like this.

13 October 2024 Watched H Dubbed On Netflix.

I would imagine Björn Skifs blushing with shame of what this became of a movie, with the title "Strul" where the original from 1988 was a blockbuster-hit in Sweden with cool and comedic acting, charactors in all parts and rock-video-esc cinematography (Luoma-crane used in a effective way). "Runken" has a tense and exiting time in prison.

Here, not so much. The only charactor/actor I was a bit impressed by is Amy Deasismont who really got the magic in comedic-acting by playing it low-key, letting the situations be funny, not acting on it.

I forced myself to watch this trough allmost 50 minutes, but I couldnt handle the lack of allmost anything a watchable movie should have. The acting were, overall, good.

Dont waste your time on this. If you havnt watched the original, from 1988 with Jonas Frick directing, do it, you will have a good time.

For us who saw the original version I think we all said, oh no, not another remake. I had very low expectations but is very glad that I did see this version. Great remake with action, fun, glimt to the old version with respect. Gladely surprised! Great to use not the most famous actors, even if we in Sweden knows some of them, made it better I would say. For a Swediah movie, this was made for viewers also outside the Nordic countries, thank you for that. Surprised over the plot, action, comedy (typically swedish). Think the actors and all crew should be proud. We have seen so many bad attempts on remakes, at last, a goid one. Will this movie be nominated for an Oscar, hell no. But a great family movie on a weekend. Enjoy.

"Trouble" (2024) offers the kind of humor you might have experienced in your moviegoing career with the Follies or even Pink Panther. So to like "Trouble," you will need upfront to like silly comedy. I admit I'm not a big fan of slapstick or the kind of silliness found in this movie.

I admit the ensemble of actors blended well and added to the overall storyline of a falsely convicted murdered, a very crooked cop and attorney, and a straight-and-narrow cop who unravels the whole enchilada - eventually.

But again, I found this movie a bit too silly, leaving me lightly entertained but dissatisfied, like when you crave Chinese food but end up with a foot long sandwich.

Not many films combine action and comedy in a satisfying manner. In "Trouble" the bar is lowered as it fails on both parameters: the action is close to nonexistent and about 99% of the jokes fall flat. The plot itself is extremely coincidental and while that can pass for setting up a synopsis in which an everyday man finds himself amidst a crime conspiracy, when used as a recurring plot device to the extent it is in "Trouble", it's a mere evidence of lacking imagination. Furthermore, the acting is uneven, despite a very low standard on the performances throughout. "Trouble" gives a face to incompetent filmmaking.

The story is quite interesting but as the movie progresses, i am getting more and more annoyed with the characters...too stupid!!!...

sorry for the term, but there's no common sense in their actions...carrying the tv and then following the antagonists..why not plug it in the hotel or somewhere so that the public can see it...you have the solid proof and yet you're acting like that...so annoying

as an audience, instead of enjoying the film, you will just get too frustrated

better if the personality of the main actor including the police officer is not that dumb and make the movie more sense.

I was pleasantly surprised as I remember the original movie from 1988 to be one of my personal favourites of Swedish comedies.

This was even better in my personal opinion.

Excellent acting over all, especially the two main characters did a great job. Amy Deasismont, who played Diana may look like a teenager as some other reweier mentioned, but she was born in 1992 so she is not to young to be a police officer.

Quite a good mix of action and comedy, even a little bit of romance at the end. Nice to get a glimpse of Björn Skifs, who starred in the original movie from '88. They also added the hit song from his band back in the days, Hooked on a feeling. And yes, it's full of stupid people and weird coincidences, but after all it's a comedy.

If you like silly movies then perhaps you will like "Trouble". I really disliked it and am still unsure of why I watched til' the end. I even really like fun & silly films occasionally, growing up with the Swedish 'Jonsson gang' films. I think they are silly in a clever way and are very charming & endearing.

This movie was far from that with a ridiculously unlikable villian (not in a good way), an insane script and unbelievable contrivance after unbelievable contrivance. For some reason I did not get caught up in the fun of it all, (as it seems some people did), like if it was a cartoon. Maybe you will. However if you don't like it 30 minutes in, then skip. You will save yourself some time and a whole lot of braincells.

I was dreadfully disappointed as I was looking forward to a fun silly movie like the Jonsson gang. There are a few characters and performances that I liked in this film, but overall, it was a massive dud.

I guess the film makers have a combined IQ of a street speed limit. The whole storyline is stitched in moronic way. If you like your time to not be wasted then this is major avoid movie. The characters are played in such blatant ignorance that an average teen could say "oh that is not how things have to done". Right from the dialogues to the actions the character take is such unintelligent. Even if this whole plot is just a remake of some another movie, at least the director could have some common sense to change the tweak the bits where the characters play dumb, to match today's audience. This movie is a "crime" genred "comedy movie but couldn't come any close to crack a laughter in any of my friends that have watched it.

Nothing, absolutely nothing is good or even acceptable in this complete waste of time of a movie - if one can even call it a movie.

It's beyond moronic - so poorly written directed and acted it embarrasses the whole Swedish film community.

The producers should be examined for they're lack and or nonexistent understanding of what makes an intelligent family comedy.

How the studio could have approved this mess is another mystery.

There is not one single funny or remotely exciting moment in the whole movie- instead it's painful to watch how it stumbles along without any style or class or sense of professional know how.

The filmmakers should feel ashamed of this uttter waste of time.

It should never have been shown to the world.

Genuinely top 5 worst movies I've ever seen. The plot and script was all over the shop. If you want to entertain yourself with brain dead content you'll love what this master piece has in store for you. This is my first ever movie review, but since this movie was so "good" it motivated me to warn the public about this shocking film. It didn't help that this was filmed in Swedish I believe, as the translation so was hilariously bad I admittedly caught myself laughing at the sheer stupidity of the script. Again I can't believe I'm still reviewing a movie since I told myself no movie can be that bad to review. However this one surprised therefore my thoughts had to be shared. Hope this helps people steer well away from this disaster.

It goes at a snails pace and there's just nothing of value to see in this movie. The dialogue is bland, the bad guys are cartoon characters but without the humor you might find in cartoons. The characters are boring. The plot forgets we have icloud and you don't need your phone. The police are all dimwits. What on earth is this? I lost a brain cell...and it moved so slow, my breathing slowed down almost to a halt...no...just give it a pass. It's not even worth your time as a side watch. I wanted to like it and literally the only tiny laugh I managed to get from it was a side character saying "ignore her, she's stupid" in reference to a co-worker. Ignore this movie. It's stupid. I am stupid for trying to watch it til the end...

Seen this Swedish movie dubbed in English. Simple story with suspenseful to some extent. It's the funny scenes that keep it going! Especially the scenes of laundry spin wash of the hero!! There are many scenes like hero and the police gal Diana hide themselves behind huge TV, prison scenes are nice watch.

Hero's body language is funny at times matching the screenplay. Director used the knowledge of TV calibration and noise cancellation headphones are utilised well in the story.

Overall this is a good time pass movie with fun moments guaranteed!!

Looking forward to such funny movies with fast screenplays.
