The season four premiere of Outer Banks brought the Netflix show back onto the streaming charts — but with only half a season released this time, it fell well short of its last premiere.
The YA drama delivered 1.19 billion minutes of viewing for the week of Oct. 7-13 (season four debuted Oct. 10), good for second place overall in Nielsen’s streaming rankings. By comparison, season three’s opening week in February 2023 — which featured the entire season released at once — drew 3.15 billion minutes of watch time.
The half-season release (part two premiered Thursday) for Outer Banks undoubtedly played a part in the lower viewing time total. Season four of Emily in Paris similarly had a sizable decline with a half-season premiere in August (but season three of Bridgerton in May did not).
Netflix’s dating show Love Is Blind led the Oct. 7-13 charts with 1.23 billion minutes of viewing; no other show crossed the 1 billion mark.

Lucky Baskhar Movie Review Rating:
Star Cast: Dulquer Salmaan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Maganti Srinath, Addanki Rohit, Kishore Raju Vasistha, Ramki
Director: Venky Atluri
Lucky Baskhar Movie Review Out ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
What’s Good: Nearly everything came together in this film: the early ’90s period setting, the background score, and Dulquer Salmaan‘s outstanding performance all worked perfectly.
What’s Bad: The first song feels unnecessary and disrupts the film’s flow. By this point, the characters and their lives have already been well established, and the song reiterates what we already know, adding little value to the narrative.
Loo Break: Feel free to take a short break during the song mentioned above, but I suggest not taking any breaks except during the interval.
Watch or Not?: This film is highly recommended, but whether it warrants a theatrical visit is up to you. The film is a solid entertainer, particularly for family audiences,...

Peter Gallagher is still in Adam Brody’s corner.
The Humane star spoke with People about the Brody Renaissance taking place online right now following the release of Netflix’s Nobody Wants This, in which Brody portrays the charming, “hot rabbi,” Noah.
“I wouldn’t go as far as being a proud dad, and I haven’t seen the show, but I’m proud of him all the time as his friend and former TV dad,” he told the publication on Wednesday. “And I’m not surprised at all [of the renaissance]. He’s so talented, and I’m glad he’s still doing his thing.”
Gallagher and Brody starred alongside one another as father and son duo, Sandy and Seth Cohen, respectively, in The O.C. The teen drama series launched Brody’s career after his beloved, albeit brief, stint on Gilmore Girls as Dave Rygalski, rocker and first boyfriend of Lane...

The fiasco of “Joker: Folie à Deux” is something that Warner Bros. can’t hide from — other distributors question its officially reported $7 million gross for its second weekend, now #4 after initially ridiculously claiming #3. But the success of its “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” the actual #3, remains a nice counterbalance.
Tim Burton’s sequel, at $275 million in U.S./Canada gross, came out as a PVOD rental only 32 days after release (unusual these days for a WB hit — “Dune Part 2” and “Godzilla Vs. Kong” had 47 day windows). But even without specific figures, it’s clear that it got a lot of action.
It replaced Disney’s “Deadpool & Wolverine,” the year’s second biggest grosser (more than double “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”) after the Marvel film’s first week out. And it likely wasn’t close — it is #1 at Fandango, which calculates by revenue. With “Deadpool” costing 25 percent more to rent ($24.99 to $19.99), that means it had a clear victory.

Milton. Ring a bell? Well, it’s understandable even if it doesn’t, considering how “it’s not a very common name!” Still, this was the name of who might as well have been, perhaps, the most tragic character of the 2021 masterpiece: The bus driver.
Milton from The Suicide Squad | Credit: Warner Bros.
Of course, back then, this name generated quite a lot of emotions from fans as a lot of the anti-heroes from the squad were shown to be troubled and confused with this respective DC character from the film. But while Robbie’s Quinn was one of the many who failed to acknowledge Milton, this titular name is coming back to haunt fans in many different ways.

It’s great news for fans of Reacher as we have a hint not only when Season 3 is coming but also news on a possible Season 4! Find out more about the Prime Video hit!
For years, fans have loved the Lee Child novels of Jack Reacher. The best-selling books focus on Reacher, a former Army investigator whose bulky frame hides a mind that could match Sherlock Holmes. Reacher roams the country, helping those in need and often involved in some criminal conspiracies.
The books were adapted for a 2012 movie, but fans weren’t happy about the casting of Tom Cruise as Reacher as he didn’t match the powerhouse of the novels and lacked the same energy. A 2016 sequel followed but that seemed the end of the series.
In 2022, Prime Video brought about the Reacher series with Alan Ritchson in the title role and more fitting the book version of Reacher.

- The Wrap
The one hour thirty-eight minutes long movie Trouble on Netflix is probably one of the best action comedy films I have watched recently. The story follows a guy named Conny, who finds himself in a classic “wrong place, wrong time” situation, as while he’s installing a TV at Luka’s house, Luka is murdered, and Conny gets wrongly accused of the crime and, even though he didn’t do it, he’s locked up for 18 years for the murder. Conny’s lawyer, Hasse, had promised to help with his appeal but never did. So, naturally, Conny was desperate to clear his name and get back home with his daughter, and decided to break out of prison. He remembered Luka’s last words before dying, “phone,” which means there was something on that phone that was the reason behind his murder. What’s on the phone? Will Conny finally prove his innocence?...

Number two film of the summer “Deadpool & Wolverine” (Disney), held back from any home viewing until after its tenth weekend in theaters, took the #1 spot on both iTunes (ranking by transactions) and Fandango (by revenue). But perhaps only for a brief stay.
“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” (Warner Bros.), a major hit though not quite in the same league as the Marvel sequel ($235 million U.S./Canada gross so far versus $634 million; both films still in the top 10) will likely replace it when released Tuesday on PVOD after its fifth weekend. That feels a little early (32 days), more so since Tim Burton’s sequel is still #3, with over $10 million.
But if anything, it appears PVOD release boosts theatrical play as of late, at least in the short term. In any event, with the opening weekend debacle of “Joker: Folie à Deux” (revised downward to $37.8 million), it will provide some immediate cash to the Burbank studio.

“Trouble” is a Netflix movie starring Filip Berg. With Amy Diamond and Eva Melander. It is directed by John Holmberg.
“Trouble” is a Swedish cinematic gem available on Netflix that masterfully intertwines the crime thriller genre with classic comedy. This film achieves an impressive balance, entertaining its audience while maintaining the gripping pace typical of thrillers. The success of this dual-genre approach is largely due to its clever, ironic script and a series of outlandish situations that keep viewers hooked from start to finish.
At the heart of “Trouble” is Filip Berg, who delivers a stellar performance reminiscent of a comic twist on the iconic “The Fugitive” (1993). His portrayal of the awkward protagonist, Conny, is both engaging and endearing. Although the film’s humor is sometimes silly, it is executed with such effectiveness that it enhances rather than detracts from the overall experience. We found ourselves thoroughly entertained.
