When Mona tells Don to hit Dusty with a hammer, the orientation of the hammer head is not consistent in all shots. Don starts with the hammer head facing the SUV but in a couple of scene changes, it is reversed.
Blood would not spurt as high and far as is does during the chainsaw disposal scene from a body that's been dead so long.
