This is a great movie. We saw it on a Secret Movie night at Cinemark, and and it was one of the best ones we have seen.
The movie starts out with actual film clips of the 1972 Olympics in Munich, Germany. I'm old enough to remember the Black September terrorist attack, but not the details. Soon the movie focuses on developing events with the hostages and terrorists situation and how the ABC Sports crew covered it. Once the story turns to those events, it is non-stop action and tension.
Seeing the control room and related technical aspects of producing a live television show was very interesting, especially when all the action starts. Watching the change in attitude and the questions of policy and morals made for a thoughtful viewing.
Although the theater had comfortable reclining seats, I sat up on the edge of my seat most of the movie.
While some Secret Movies are not worth the $5, this movie was well worth the full admission price.
