Being a pure filmiholic, it is only natural that I would love this web series on celebrity life, dark secrets of the film world and the hype of Bollywood. Emraan Hashmi gave a great performance, he single handedly stole the limelight in the series. It is completely ridiculous that the dark secrets of Bollywood would be revealed in such a way in any Bollywood series, that is why I thoroughly enjoyed the series. There is no chance of being boring, this series can be seen in one sitting.

Overall, it goes without saying that this is a must-watch series for those who are always into the filmy world. Waiting now for June, gonnaa wating to see part 2!💛🎬

Just completed watching Showtime!!

All the actors have worked well. Part two was a bit faster than Part one. Because in part one after two episodes, it was kind of slow. But for the part two, the show has taken its pace. Story vise part two is more interesting than the first one.

There has been a few things that will give you some deja vu with the things actually happened in Bollywood over the years. Even though I am not mentioning any names or anything (for the sake of not spoiling the show), you guys will know what I am talking about.

Another interesting thing was mentioned was "when two people fights, the third person takes advantage of it. So, instead fighting with each other, try to find a middle way which will give you more probability of victory."

For me the best part was the end of the show where we will get to see new allies happening on both the positive and negative side.

Frankly speaking this show had a lot going for it specially in terms of the cast except Mahima and her weird facial expressions, had they put more effort into Mahikas character and casted a competent actor to play the lead instead of Mahima it would have been a decent show, what a let down she is.

Now the good things- Rajeev Khandelwal does his part effortlessly and Imran is good too but he couldn't hold himself in font of Naseer Sahab but honestly very few actors can.

All the other supporting cast is good specially Vijay Raaz and every one did their part nicely.

A more crisp and stremlined storyline would have helped the case.

Overall, "Showtime" (2024) is a series that promises much but delivers little. While it offers a glimpse into the glamorous world of Bollywood, its shallow character development, predictable plotlines, and lack of emotional depth prevent it from being a truly captivating viewing experience.

Lemme adding this seriously but the casting is fully wrong as because in my POV, the casting is wrong but reversed also and I think the story shows the real side of the Film Industry and the stardom of the Actors and Actresses. The direction and production is all right but the plot and casting needs to be improved as because negativity roles for Emraan doesn't suits him. The anger suits in Emraan but not the villian role. But overall the series is good and worth of watching but if any sequel/prequel is releasing after this, there must be improvement in casting, direction and on the Storyline of the series.

Please save your time pathetic show waste of real talents like Emraan and Rajeev Mahima was one of the most pathetic one I ever seen on screen by watching her I felt like nepotism is there and sabse ghatiya acting ka award use hi mile iss saal and after that I will never watch her any shows actually I stopped watching this series in the middle of second episode that much boring and I would also suggest IMDb to please allow us to rate zero also.

My rating is zero for this series I am a huge fan of Rajeev khandelwal but he is also doing chutiyapa in this series and Emraan also doing the same chutiyapa.....

So Good to See Emraan Hashmi.. Always So dam Underrated...Good to watch him Shine in this Show... Excellently Executed... With only 4 Episodes being Currently Released it shows you the Ins and Outs of The Madhouse World Of Bollywood...Workplace Egos and everything that goes into managing it. The Cameos will only bring Smiles to your Face.

Excellent Casting of everyone. Hope they make More Episodes and A 2nd Season and If so the Wait isn't too long bcoz with Indian OTT shows.

2nd seasons and or 3rd Take a long time to Be released.. highly Recommend

A Mini Awarapan Reunion we weren't Expecting.

Totally waste of time Looking like the makers are just want to tell something but don't want to do much work. Story is about the working nature of bollywood but no good dialogues, no such heavy scenes. And Emraan Hashmi is too good with his performance and Vijay Raaz is fab as always other than that the story is too loose and i don't understand the character of Armaan it's looking like he is doing the comedy part in the movie.

Looks like no efforts made by the makers to make this story even better only they trying to give good feeling by some unnecessary cameos no need at all if the story has something to watch out for.

The concept and story were par excellence. I was very excited for this show. Full marks for the concept. But the execution failed miserably. Were not able to convey what they had envisioned. In fact they completely missed the mark and were too rash without enough build-up for any character or any story.

Visuals are excellent. That scene where Vijay Raaz proposes his son's launch to Mahima in exchange for help, that whole sequence was a visual treat. Rajeev and Vijay out perform everyone else.

This could had easily become one of the best shows if Karan Johar was involved whole heartedly into this project in order to deliver.

Atleast any show has h timeline some base story but this show is absolutely mindless. The characters in this show are dumb but writer is more dumb. Protagonist just want to change her outfit in every scene but hasn't used her brain in any scene. Just to build a second season you can't just show anything. Are these characters or athlete who just flip there stance at any time . Politics is understandable but not this character shifting arc every episode. How can a show be so dumb is the real question here . Take example from "industry" series they have the decency of at least being related to their story .

Loved the entire plot ..... everyone has done a great job ....the acting is quite decent .....

The first two eps are like "Wooww" .

Just the show gets a little bit slow after 2 episodes....but still has plot twists in every episode so it's good and very much involving.

More scenes of Mahima and her mother are needed . Moni Roy deserves more screen time and should be portrayed as positive character woman who takes right decision.

The glimpse of further episodes is very interesting .

Rest the show is full of mirch masala twist and turns .

It's a must watch show.

Waiting for more eps ..and guys it's ShowTime .

Here's what happened.. A combination of An actor who has clearly lasted in Bollywood way beyond his talent and a production house that would do anything to make money. Emran would have not even made it on TV if it weren't for the Bhatt's giving him a mainstream break. How a talentless actor who no one wants to watch is still good enough for Dharma and the studio but they cannot give opportunities to new actors? This is the sorry state of affairs in Bollywood.. So we get what is expected from Emran now a days...complete garbage!

This is a show no one asked for and no one is interested in watching...

The Series Is About Elite A Production House in Mumbai,India whose owner is not happy with the content but his son Raghu Khaana Only thinks about the box office numbers of the film soon a new critic arrives and shakes the bollywood.

Emraan Hashmi Is great as always dialogues from his mouth are like great as he became a producer this time before it he became director in films the Dirty Picture and raaz 3.

Mouni Roy has given a decent performance but we've seen better.

There are many cameos to make it look realistic bollywood.

First 2 episodes are great. Background score is week .

Sometimes Acting Is Not Convencing .

After 2 Episodes The Story And pacing comes slower .

Others Actors have done a good work.

The Show is indeed very good and interesting but could have been BETTER, I damn recommend you to watch the show .

A Binge Watch & A Must Watch ....

Only Emran Hasmi, Rajeev, Mahima, and Ofcourse Vijay Raaz were amazing. Mouni roy was over the top and clearly shows why she is good for TV Serials... Poor acting, no Expression and dilogue delivery is worst... Just to get footage I am sure she has forced her single shot screen present in episode 7.... Hate to see her... The screen time is stretched in few episodes and dialogues are very poor.

Acting wise most actors were great and did wonderful .... Story is good too... Direction wise you can feel all episodes aren't directed by just one director but different people as some episodes have great grip other episodes we feel like yawning l.

Watch mamla legal hein if you really want entertainment & good screenplay.if you want to hear to bakwaas dialogue & irritating loud background score with overacting failed actors & non sensical screenplay basically no soul, boring pathetic in name of web series & want headache them try wasting time into it.after failing in movies these no talent production houses try to spoil web series money with their useless products.buying reviews won't help dumb heads,investing in good stories & actors does.these web platform should stop wasting audience time into these garbage producers.they can't match level of good web series directors.this series can't hold your attention for 5 minutes forget binge watching.audience are now used to better stuff now, no one cares for k joker usual kachra.youtube webseries are far more entertaining than this krap.

The web series is amazing with stellar performances by the entire star cast. You name it and this show has a bunch of stars Emraan Hashmi,Mouni Roy,Mahima etc each giving their awesome performances , making it hard to pick the best one. The surprise package is Mahima who is shining in the star studded webseries with her beauty and sharp acting skills. Emraan Hashmi is shining as Raghu delivering one of his best performances. Naseerudin Shah has a short but impactful role which sets the high benchmark of the series in the first episode itself .Vishal Vashisht from Ghar Wapsi fame has portrated the role of Prithvi beautifully capturing the essence of how relationships get affected in professional and personal life. Karan Johar has managed to capture the inside struggles of filmmaking in a thrilling manner. The series not only captures the famous nepotism war of insider vs outsider by also walks you through the lens of the challenges faced by the producers to keep the show running. The series is a must watch!!! Kudos to the entire team.

Even the purest Bollywood guys all together cudnt proper Bollywood movie .... With all those real Bollywood cameos didn't really add any spice to this plain rice .... Emraan is the only one trying hard to make this work ... I don't know what rajeev mouni and sriya are doing in show... so many writers directors I guess no one is interested ... I guess the reality of the show is in writers and directors who hardly show any talent nowadays ... not a single scene, dialogue, performance stood out ... no one can dare to see this show again and what a pathetic boring irritating performance by lead actress who plays nandi.... Dull ... Ott when is made with so much censorship which showing deep reality deep politics of Bollywood is plain turn off ... 2 3 curse words per episode to have its adult .... The convincing dialogues by nandi to any star to get them in movies were so dull ... dint work at all ... reels do more justice to scenes than that ... Karan Johar normally doesn't interfere when he is just producer here he was needed to ....

The series doesn't disappoint you on acting skills,emraan so secure in his shoes that everyone around just show their acting poweress,emraan is a big star..but a through professional, but nowhere we feel he is trying to supress anyone...Rajeev character I loved it and he performed so well..fresh air..the gals performed awesomely and natural..more than the story it was the acting skills that bowled me..it's a nice watch to see some good acting.

The story part could me more stronger as with such fab actors ..its a worthy series or could garner more love from the audience.

In Gist the series - Acting,fab cast add more punch to storyline and its superhit!

Showtime is purely bollywood spicy masala and in 1 word its entertainment and entertainment . We have seen some depthly bollywood movies earlier but its 1st time some light and deep yet entertaining show is given .

Cast performances: Emran hashmi - is bang as producer and as a businessman Mouni roy - best expressing actress in this show with quite some good dialogues and a good performance, she have done justice to her role Mahima - is good but needs more improvement Rajeev - played his part well Shriya- very less time delivered well Others have also done their best Its a mutch watch show 🔥 though it can be executed more properly in terms of every department except production , cinematography and sound and picture quality.
