I subscribed for this show just for the fantastically ridiculous premise, fully expecting that it would be pretty much (hot queer) garbage - especially considering the dumpster fire that was MILF Manor. Joyfully, "For the Love of DILFs" blew my expectations out of the water. Right from the first opening narration from "Dr. DILF", it's clear that everyone involved in this show knows exactly the kind of show they're making and, most importantly, is committed to it 110%. They "storylines" are uplifting but not too complicated, drama doesn't seem manufactured, and both seasons' casts have been quite committed to the process and clearly enjoy their time on the show.
The standout, however, is Stormy Daniels. Who acts as well as you'd expect. And that's PERFECT. It's clear all the contestants adore her, and how could they not? She's so earnest and committed, joyfully happy to be involved, and always ready to throw in a devious aside poking fun at her past. Stormy is a joy to have on screen from the start of each episode right to the final "Send Nudes." I hope OutTV funds 10 seasons of this adorable little queer dating show.

I love seeing the different queer representation this show brings to the table. With body sizes and ethnicities of all sorts they took the blueprint of all our favorite reality dating shows and created the best gay dating trash TV they could have. With silly challenges, hot ass guys, and an iconic and controversial hostess, Stormy Daniels, For The Love Of DILFS is instantly my new favorite reality show! Without trying to be something it's not the show is full of drama, sass, body, and surprisingly relatable moments. While at first you're watching for the gayest cat fights, you stay tuned in for the romantic relationships you end up routing for.

Netflix has really seeded the reality genre of dating love shows and while they did have some queer members here and there, i stumbled on this by chance and surprised. I rolled my eyes a few times but stayed for the, you guessed it, slowmo walk through of these hunks. There were some real connections, some weird awkward convos, and Of course drama that we love. Stormy Daniel as a host was a nice touch and those outfits! So far so good for another live dating show but if you know the formula on how to get through the show by playing the game, do the people really on there really have a connection? Wondering if they would be a reunion, hard to say. Considering even those on love is blind from Netflix split up in the end, will this cast repeat n play just for the challenges and money, but not really love? Stay tuned !
I don't really have a fav and maybe that's the problem in rooting for someone or a couple.
Get a bigger production budget for season 2 Please, as the interviews on green screen was tacky and we could see it being distracting.
