The male Station Announcer voice that is used in Victoria Station, is the real voice of the Station. Production brought in Matthew Streeton to record special takes just for the show.
The device on the train is actually a MMDVM (Multi Mode Digital Voice Modem) used to connect digital voice radios through the Internet using software called Pi-star.
Gavin Mitchell (Train Driver) and Scott Reid (Train Guard) have worked together before on 'Still Game'.
