The fire bomb thrown through the window was known as a Molotov Cocktail. It was originated by the Fins after the Russians invaded Finland in 1939. The name Molotov was meant as a jab at Russia's foreign minister. The molotov cocktail, a Russian army not prepared for the winter helped the Fins defeat the Russians.

Goofs
Towards the end, the DA pulls up in a Corvair convertible. The series is set in 1960. The Corvair was not sold as a convertible until 1962. The 1960 models were all coupes and sedans.
