Disney+ is adding so many great new titles this month!

It’s officially September, which means we can come to expect a whole new batch of television shows, movies and Disney+ originals to be added to the streaming service.

One of the biggest, most anticipated releases of the month will be the two-episode series premiere of Agatha All Along, which comes on September 24.

Here’s a plot summary of the Marvel series: “The infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself powerless after a suspicious goth Teen breaks her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards witches with what they need. Together, Agatha and the Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road…”

It’s been an eventful summer for Disney, and not under ideal circumstances. The Walt Disney Company has revealed the Disney Plus September 2024 release schedule, which includes new Originals, movies, and TV series. The Disney+ streaming service features movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more, alongside exclusive Disney+ Originals.

The September schedule includes Agatha All Along, Ayla & the Mirrors, Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation (Sing-Along Version), Dancing with the Stars Season 33, Disney Jr.’s Ariel, Lego Pixar: BrickToons, Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, and more.

Disney Branded Television continues its long and fruitful relationship with the Annecy Animation Festival today with an annual presentation of project greenlights and series renewals. The company is also sharing first looks at exciting upcoming shows and specials from its preschool and kid-focused slate.

Detailed descriptions of the titles showcased in this year’s presentation are available below, but highlights from today’s panel include new shorts series announcements for “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur: Moon Girl’s Lab” and “SuperKitties: Su-Purr Adventure,” a 22-minute “Prep & Landing” special, a fifth season order of “Big City Greens,” and the second season release date and first look images from “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures.”

First looks are also being provided for upcoming series including “Disney Jr.’s Ariel,” “Kindergarten: The Musical,” “StuGo” and “The Doomies,” the latter of which will host an Annecy Work in Progress session on Wednesday morning.
