When Max is going into the killer's barn she grabs a lantern while holding the machete. The lantern accidentally hits a jar and it shows Max catching it before it hits the ground. This is not possible due the fact she is already holding both the lantern and the machete and has no free hand to catch the jar.
After Billy Murphy jumps out of the window and start chasing the kids, his machete changes from his right hand to his left, then back to his right again.
In the original showing of the movie at the theatre, Nancy tells the story of Billy at the slumber party, THEN gets killed by Billy while waiting to have sex with Kurt. Inside the movie, Nancy goes to have sex with Kurt on the first day, about mid-day, which means she would have been killed by Billy BEFORE telling the story of Billy that night.
After the first flashback scene, the amount of blood on Gertie's face changes.
Closer to the end of the film, Max hides in the chapel with Billy's machete. In the next scene outside the chapel, Billy has his machete to kill Nancy. When Max goes out, the machete returns to her, and then goes back to Billy automatically.

When Nancy and Max have their auto accident, their car comes to a rest upside down with all four tires clearly visible. Then an unexplained tire rolls past them.
Burning tobacco become ash as it falls from a lit cigarette. Buddy's ash would not have ignited the fire in the theatre.
When Vicki opens the bottle of alcohol from the case she stole from her uncle, one can hear the breaking sound as she twists the cap off the bottle neck. Yet there is no label. If it were purchased, there would be a label and if it were homemade it would not have a twist cap.
At the start when Max and Nancy are driving before they crash, Nancy turns up the radio while they are driving and the gear lever is clearly in Park.
Billy kills Mimi by strangling her first then breaking her neck yet when Max and her friends encounter her corpse she is covered in blood which Duncan proceeds to taste to see if it is corn syrup or fake blood. It doesn't look like Billy did any further damage to her so there should be no blood.
Amanda's résumé has an empty bullet item after her other television credits.
When Tina is trying to summon Billy, she dances to Warrant's Cherry Pie. This song didn't come out until September of 1990. The movie took place in 1986.

"Camp Bloodbath" is set in 1986 but Kurt mentions the Michael Jackson song "Bad," which was released in 1987.
