'Reverse the Curse' follows Ted), a failed writer-turned-Yankees Stadium peanut slinger who moves back home after learning of the failing health of his Red Sox-obsessed father, Marty . While Marty strives to make amends for his past, his health drops abruptly whenever his beloved Sox lose a game. To keep his dad’s spirits up, Ted takes matters into his own hands and manufactures a winning streak with the help of a crew of dad’s neighborhood pals. In the process, Ted strikes up a bond with Marty’s charming “Death Specialist,” Marianna, and the prospect of a new love reignites his ambitions. An ode to the bond between father and son, this warm and witty film demonstrates how life truly belongs to the losers, and that the longshots are the ones worth betting on.

Duchovny hits a home run!

I finally got to see this movie and it did not disappoint!! From the start and throughout the whole movie I found myself laughing out loud which not many movies make me do that these days. Duchovny also had cool shots and cut aways that added cool elements to the story telling. I loved Duchovny and Logan Marshall together and thought they had seamless chemistry. Stephanie is phenomenal in this and the three really balance each other out very well. The parts that were meant to be touching were and compared to the book I think he did a pretty good job of translating it to a movie. I laughed, I cried and then I laughed some more. David really put his heart into this film and role and it shows!
