Infamously, the duo gave two thumbs up to Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997) despite most critics declaring it one of the worst sequels ever. Gene and Roger's positive written reviews, along with Andrew Collins, are the sole reasons the film doesn't have a 0% critic's score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Goofs
In his review of Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997), Roger Ebert says that its star, Jason Patric, also appears in Love and Death on Long Island (1997). Ebert was thinking of Jason Priestley.
