Will Hayden was sentenced to three life sentences, plus 40 years in prison,
after his arrest that caused the series cancellation. Joe Meaux took over Red
Jacket Firearms, and renamed the company to Meaux Guns & Ammo; additionally, he
opened a second company next door, called Aklys Defense. Charlie Watson stayed
with Joe Meaux, and now works for Aklys Defense. Stephanie and Kris Ford were
originally charged with assault against their child, but the charges were later
dropped.
The company featured in the show, Red Jacket Firearms LLC, was renamed Meaux
Guns & Ammo, after Joe Meaux forcefully took ownership of the company after Will
Hayden's arrest and subsequent imprisonment. Joe Meaux was the COO of the
company during the show's running, and was frequently seen during the series.
In the middle of the 5th season, the owner of Red Jacket, and the de-facto
main actor of the show, Will Hayden, was arrested for aggravated rape against
his daughter, and other women. As a result, Discovery cut all ties with the
people and the company involved with the series. Will Hayden was subsequently
found guilty, and sentenced to life imprisonment.
