I would like to commend Mr. Stacey for writing such a realistic movie that depicts the challenges that the men and woman of the Armed Forces are dealing with. I am an Army Nurse with 31 years of service and I Case Manage Soldiers with PTSD. This movie is great source of education which should be used to educate communities, police forces and families on the effects of War but more importantly the effects of War on the service person, the community and the families. We have to continue to educate our Service men and woman that it is OK to talk about what happened during these conflicts and seek help, we have to educate families that they can't cure these symptoms alone ans we have to educate that this Mental Health Issue is life long but if appropriate help is rendered the signs and symptoms will become bearable and they (the Service person and the family) can live healthy, productive and enriching lives. PTSD doesn't have to be a death warrant if appropriate treatment is rendered.
Again thank you very much for this movie.
