The original short story was based on the Flint River in Georgia. It just so happened that Bainbridge was the perfect setting for the screenplay.
Alex and Graham Miller won the Best Actor award for their performances in this film, in the First Glance Film Festival at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, California.
