When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to be in the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a "Harrison Ford type," and was going to audition people similar to Ford. Segel told Goldstein they had to at least bring it to Ford first, thinking he would turn it down immediately, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was brought the project, generating interest from other notable actors. In the end, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him on the role. Goldstein still doesn't understand what he did to convince him, but was elated nonetheless.

Really Enjoyed It

Shrinking was just as good as I had hoped for. First of all, as soon as I saw Harrison Ford and Jason Segal were starring in it I was already going to watch it but then after reading all the positive reviews and watching the trailer my excitement grew even more. Well, I just finished it and it not only met my expectations but surpassed them. I'm not saying it's the best show of the year but it's an original, feel good comedy that will make you laugh throughout each episode. I'd definitely recommend this but make sure you give yourself enough time to watch it because you're going to want to binge it as quickly as you can.
