Perhaps known to passionate followers of Kevin Smith as the man that discovered Clerks one morning in the basement of the Angelika Film Center, he used his connections to launch the director’s career. Hawk spread the word about the black-and-white, quick-witted Jersey shore comedy shot in a convenience store after hours.

The Film Stage: You’re a figure I’ve known about for years – Kevin Smith always credits you for starting his career. How did you get roped in to doing a documentary about yourself?

Bob Hawk: Well, I am known. I mean I have been on the scene for over 30 years in independent film.

On Thursday, 27-year-old Duggar responded to allegations that he molested five underage girls (including his sisters) when he was a teen. Josh; his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle; and Josh's wife, Anna all posted messages on Facebook. Here's Josh's statement:

Twelve years ago, as a young teenager I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation.

Hilary Duff really committed to her new music video!   The actress-turned-singer just dropped the video for her latest single, "Sparks," where she opens up about joining Tinder and even shares some footage from a few of her dates in the candid clip.  While Duff made headlines last month for using the dating app, it's pretty clear that the "Lizzie McGuire" alum also used the site to promote and make her new music video.  Check out a few of Hilary's Tinder dates in the music video for "Sparks" above!  "In my life, I've always had serious boyfriends [and] met people through work," Hilary says during an interview in the clip. During her interview on “Valentine in the Morning” today (April 28), the “Cheaper By the Dozen” dame declared, “I’m on Tinder,” adding that she’s talking to “nine guys right now.”

Hilary continued, “I was sitting with my friends one night at the house and we were joking around. In my life, I have always had really serious boyfriends.
