Sunday update: Walt Disney Studios’ “Moana 2” continued to dominate the box office in its second weekend, taking in a projected $52 million domestically as its worldwide total reached $600 million. It shattered “Frozen II’s” post-Thanksgiving weekend record, which grossed $35.1 million in the first weekend of December, 2019. Universal’s “Wicked” is second with $34.8 million, followed by “Gladiator II” with $12.4 million, “Red One” with $7 million, and “Pushpa 2 — The Rule” with $4.9 million. Among new openers, “Solo Leveling: ReAwakening” made the biggest splash with $2.4 million and A24’s “Y2K” disappointed with just $2.1 million.
Friday update: As expected, there won’t be much movement in the post-Thanksgiving box office rankings. “Moana 2” is projected to hold the top spot again, taking in around $60 million, which would be the highest numbers ever for the first week of December. The current record-holder is 2019’s “Frozen II,” which grossed $35.1 million. “Wicked” is poised to come in second place with around $32 million,...

For theaters, the post-Thanksgiving weekend usually serves leftover turkeys. Not this year: With “Moana 2” (Disney) and “Wicked” (Universal) leading the way, all films grossed around $135 million. While that’s not a record weekend for 2024 (it’s #13), the total nearly doubles last year’s and it may represent the highest attendance since at least 2012.
This date usually serves as halftime between two holidays, with one or two Thanksgiving holdovers still strong but little other action. With “Gladiator II” (Paramount), this weekend has three.
Among specialized and limited releases, Luca Guadagnino’s “Queer” stood out with a second-weekend expansion to 47 theaters and $406,000. Longer-running awards contenders saw weaker post-holiday results.
The weekend also featured a number of non-studio and event presentations with many distributors using the opportunity to get screens to taking their best shot. A handful worked, but a lot of interesting, well-reviewed titles ended up with little to no impact.

Typically, the first weekend of December is notoriously slow, with audiences still recovering from the Thanksgiving holiday. However, in this unusual year of ups and downs at the box office, many more people went to see movies this weekend than usual for this time of year. The box office was driven by strong holdover business for Moana 2 and Wicked, both of which blasted past the $300 million domestic mark this weekend. At the same time, the re-release of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar proved to be a box office juggernaut.
Moana 2 had a slightly bigger week-to-week decline than I anticipated in my predictions earlier this week. According to Deadline, it fell 63%, possibly as a result of its good (but not great) A-minus CinemaScore rating, which suggests audiences aren’t as wild about it as other breakout hits this year (Inside Out 2 and Wicked both received A ratings). Nevertheless, the $52 million weekend was hefty.

Sunday Am Writethru: Refresh for chart and more analysis What’s the trick to keeping the post-Thanksgiving period alive? Great holdovers from the holiday weekend before.
One of the dullest box office periods historically of the year is not in 2024 with all films grossing $132M, the best this frame has ever seen. That surpasses the previous record back in 2018 when all movies totaled $120M. And that’s because this weekend is powered by Moana 2, Wicked and Gladiator II ($12.4M).
More to celebrate: Moana 2 at $600M worldwide, just pased the lifetime global of the first movie’s $582M.
Omg that’s a low opening for Y2K!
It’s not like any major studio dared to launch a tentpole this weekend, a la Warner Bros. back in 2003 with Tom Cruise’s...

In a turn of events that shouldn’t surprise anyone, Deadline is reporting that Thanksgiving holdovers Moana 2 and Wicked are dominating the box office on a weekend that’s light on competitive new releases. However, both Moana 2 and Wicked are coming in softer than I anticipated in my box office predictions, with Disney’s animated sequel on track to make just over $50 million (a stronger-than-expected 64% drop) while Wicked should make $32 million.
Just like in previous weekends, Gladiator II should be right behind them with a $12 million gross, while Red One should make $7 million for an $85 million total (it will be interesting to see if it can top $100 million domestically). However, the movie placing fifth this weekend is a huge surprise, with the Indian-made sequel, Pushpa 2 – The Rule, on track for a $5 million weekend.

Werewolves’ premise is ambitious and absurd: a supermoon—a celestial phenomenon long idealized in poetry and folklore—causes a global transformation, converting the populace into voracious lycanthropes. This concept straddles the line between horror and dark comedy, conjuring up an almost whimsical yet terrifying vision of social collapse.
The notion that simply moonlight might cause such a seismic shift in human behaviour is a metaphor for the latent chaos simmering beneath the surface of civilized society. One can’t help but compare historical occurrences, such as the chaotic aftermath of revolutions or the abrupt outbreak of societal terror during pandemics, where the veneer of order is stripped away, revealing our fundamental instincts.
Wesley Marshall (Frank Grillo) is at the centre of this chaos, a character whose muscular arrogance masks a deeper weakness. His past, the loss of his brother in the previous supermoon disaster, provides a personal stake that resonates...

“Werewolves” is your basic, everyday lean-and-mean dystopian werewolf-as-zombie action thriller, with elements lifted from the pandemic and the “Purge” films. It’s not a good movie, but it’s a tight little time passer. Frank Grillo, who’s at the center of it (playing a ripped bruiser who is also…a molecular biologist!), has a way of making any pulp movie better. He’s like a brainy Charles Bronson. And the plot is simplicity itself, and efficiency too: On the night of a supermoon (that’s when the full moon comes closest to Earth), people all over the globe are transformed into towering werewolves if they look at the moon for so much as one second. Talk about a good reason to stay home and stream something.
How are the werewolves? Cheesy in a fun way. As in self-consciously old-fashioned, or maybe just lavishly threadbare. A lot of people now...

Steven C. Miller has directed a movie with a concept that is, simply put, fuckin’ cool.
“Werewolves,” written by Matthew Kennedy and now in theaters via Briarcliff Entertainment, is about a world where the annual supermoon turns everyone outside into huge, hungry werewolves that rip apart anyone in their path. Luckily, Frank Grillo plays a ripped scientist who is close to a cure, but also has to worry about keeping his family safe during yet another supermoon. There’s tons of in-your-face werewolf action, big guns and lots of blood and guts in this throwback flick that would feel right at home in a drive-in double feature.
Miller has plenty of experience with both action and horror films, directing movies like “Mauraders,” “First Kill” and “Silent Night” and working with big names like Sylvester Stallone and Nicolas Cage. He spoke with Variety about the joy of practical effects, how microbudget...

Steven C. Miller’s lycan action-thriller Werewolves is a little bit Dog Soldiers, a dash of The Purge, and a decent amount of howl-and-gun excitement. It’s high on indie spirits but not clear of shortcomings. Miller’s further return to the horror genre after 2022’s smarthouse slasher Margaux feels tethered to his prior run of shoot-em-up Bruce Willis collaborations and too serious for its good. Legendary SFX artist Alec Gillis designs all the film’s snarling monsters, a highlight of Werewolves, but something else is missing from the experience that prevents this scrappy creature feature from breaking into the furry subgenre’s upper echelon.

Presented by Steven C. Miller’s Werewolves, Bloody Disgusting is looking to the stars and howling at the moon with Werewolves Week. Today, Rachel Reeves takes a bite out of seven under-seen werewolf movies you don’t want to miss.
Werewolves have long prowled the shadows of horror cinema, their natural knack for a meaty metaphor and fur-clad ferocity captivating audiences for generations. While classics like An American Werewolf in London, The Howling, and The Wolf Man often lead the crowded werewolf genre pack, it also teems with lesser-known gems waiting to sink their teeth into new fans.
From campy cult favorites to atmospheric thrillers brimming with eerie allure, the enduring appeal of the werewolf metaphor lies in its raw exploration of duality—the primal versus the civilized, man versus the beast. It’s a vessel for themes of transformation, rage, addiction and identity, resonating with anyone who has wrestled with their inner demons.

Here’s how we know December is likely to gross over $1 billion: in its first eight days through the upcoming weekend, “Moana 2” (Disney), “Wicked” (Universal), and “Gladiator II” (Paramount) will likely combine to take in around $225 million in U.S./Canada box office.
That’s a full weekend plus Sunday through Thursday after Thanksgiving. The three films through Sunday will have grossed over $700 million — all told through then, most of it for “Moana 2” and “Wicked,” both over $300 million by next Sunday.
Those two are certain to hold most of their theaters through Christmas, where their family appeal should rebound. Ridley Scott’s film will still have some juice left. It’s reasonable that combined all three will gross over $500 million during December.
If they do, it should help push the month over $1 billion. And that would happen even though none of the new Christmas titles is expected to...

Director Steven C. Miller‘s latest, the action-horror creature feature Werewolves, drew early comparisons to The Purge based on its premise and its star, Frank Grillo. From its opening sequence that sees Lou Diamond Phillip‘s Dr. Aranda deliver the proper setup and worldbuilding for the madness ahead, however, it’s clear that Werewolves has more in common with the “anything goes” spirit of ’90s action horror films like Full Eclipse, Project Metal Beast, and even Blade. While Miller takes the action and werewolf effects with utmost seriousness, Werewolves just wants you to have fun. More importantly, it’s the type of movie that delivers exactly what’s promised: a whole lot of snarling, drooling werewolves.
Written by Matthew Kennedy, Werewolves introduces a world where a supermoon triggered a gene mutation that transforms people into werewolves if they step out into the moonlight. One year later, with another supermoon looming,...

Silent Night director Steven C. Miller‘s latest doesn’t just feature a single werewolf on the prowl, but dozens in action horror movie Werewolves. It’s the type of setup that’s exciting for werewolf fans yet daunting in scope due to the stunts and creature work required.
It’s also exactly what excited Miller about Matthew Kennedy’s script. “The writer just brought it to me pretty early on, and so I fell in love with it instantly,” Miller tells Bloody Disgusting. “I couldn’t believe how much mayhem was happening in the script, especially with the werewolves. Presented by Steven C. Miller’s Werewolves, Bloody Disgusting is looking to the stars and howling at the moon with Werewolves Week. Today, Jenn Adams takes a look at the funny side of the werewolf sub-genre: the hairy horror-comedy.
The act of becoming a werewolf is deadly serious—arguably horror’s most painful mutation. The body writhes and screams while elongating and sprouting fur. Claws appear where fingernails once were and the face becomes an animal-like snout equipped with whiskers, fur, and gnashing fangs. Given the screaming poor souls we see undergo this transformation, it’s safe to say the process hurts. So why then are so many modern werewolf movies played for laughs?
Yes, some entries in this curious subgenre are quite dramatic, examining the duality of man or female sexuality, but other titles are among the genre’s most beloved and successful horror comedies. Like peanut butter and chocolate,...

Werewolves are, in my opinion, an underused commodity in the world of horror. Vampires and zombies get their fill, but werewolves are, more often than not, itching for their shot to bask in the moonlight. Leigh Whannell’s reimagining of The Wolfman is set to hit theaters early next year, so perhaps that will turn the tides and theaters can once again be overtaken by the furriest of the classic creatures. But audiences don’t have to wait until the new year to scratch that itch as Frank Grillo prepares to face off against a horde of lycanthrope in Werewolves.
Werewolves Plot
Following a supermoon event that transformed people into monsters overnight, society struggles to cope with the reality of that harrowing night. When another supermoon is set to occur one year later, Wesley Marshall (Grillo) must fight to survive the worst night of his life (again).

Werewolves seem to be going through a bit of a comeback. From The Wolfman to The Beast Within, it certainly feels like there’s more happening within the subgenre than ever before. Yet they do often feel very…samey. They often involve a man being bitten by a mysterious creature and then having to fight the urges of his werewolf counterpart. This is why it’s so exciting that we’re finally getting a film involving Werewolves that breaks the mold and does something different. And boy oh boy is it different. With an entire planet filled with Werewolves and practical FX that are sure to satisfy, this is the Werewolf movie we’ve always wanted. You can check out my glowing review of Werewolves Here.

Review: It feels like werewolves are going through a bit of a resurgence. It may not be as crazy as slashers in the early 80s or zombie films in the 2000s, but it’s hard to deny. From The Beast Within, Werewolves Within, to The Wolf Man, lycanthropic endeavors seem on the rise. And who better to lead some Werewolf mayhem than action star extraordinaire, Frank Grillo! In Werewolves, a supermoon event turned anyone who touched moonlight into a werewolf one year prior. Billions of people died and it was a global tragedy. Now, the Supermoon is back and the world must prepare for the monster mayhem to come.

Presented by Steven C. Miller’s Werewolves, Bloody Disgusting is looking to the stars and howling at the moon with Werewolves Week. Today, Luiz H.C. explores the evolution of the werewolf/wolfman throughout cinema history.
Werewolf stories are much, much older than most folks seem to realize, with some of the earliest examples of lycanthropy dating all the way back to ancient Greece (though some scholars argue that wolfmen were already present in the Epic of Gilgamesh). That’s why I’ve always found it fascinating that much of what we’d consider to be the basis for modern werewolf mythology and iconography was actually made up by genre filmmakers.
From full moon transformations to pentagrams marking potential victims, werewolf lore is continuously being expanded by screenwriters attempting to make sense of thousands of years of oral tradition. And in honor of Steven C. Miller’s Werewolves in theaters...

The first week of December is notoriously dead as far as new movies go. Of course, there’s a reason for this, as traditionally, Thanksgiving is one of the highest-grossing weekends of the year, and the titles released during this corridor tend to do big holdover business. As such, neither of the weekend’s new releases, the A24 horror comedy Y2K or the Frank Grillo action flick Werewolves, are expected to break the bank. That said, I wouldn’t chalk up either as a flop or even disappointing, as they are targeting niche audiences and likely aren’t even aiming at opening in the top five, given their modest promotional pushes and theatre counts.
This weekend, expect Moana 2 to make in the $65 million range, as family audiences will continue to turn out in droves to see this record-breaking sequel. I also expect Wicked, in week three, to hold up exceptionally well,...

Moana 2‘s “Hauʻoli lākou” aka good luck continues this weekend as it eyes a $60M second frame.
For the post-Thanksgiving first weekend of December, that’s an absolute mind-blowing record for a No. 1-ranking title, whether holdover or new release. The previous high for this frame was in 2019, when the third weekend of Frozen 2 cleared first place with a third-weekend $35.1M take, -59%. Understand, this coming weekend is traditionally a dead zone as audiences, particularly women, get distracted by holiday activities.
Moana 2‘s second weekend is looking to be around -57%; the first 2016 film eased by 50% in the post-Thanksgiving period with a $28.2M second weekend.
Given the prospects for bad business during the post-Thanksgiving weekend, studios sidestep any tentpole openings; the last notable debut was in 2003, when Warner Bros’ Tom Cruise epic The Last Samurai posted $24.2M. Last year at this time there was AMC Theatres’ Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé,...

It can be tricky keeping track of which movies release each week, especially with the holiday season ushering in a tidal wave of awards films and four-quadrant blockbusters. With a few big titles still left for the year, check out what is coming to theaters in December.
After “Moana 2” made a splash over the Thanksgiving holiday, one of the biggest wide releases this week is “Y2K,” A24’s newest horror comedy. Kyle Mooney’s follow-up to “Unfrosted” takes place on New Year’s Eve in 1999 when two high school students crash a party and find technology coming to life. The cast includes Rachel Zegler, Jaeden Martell, Julian Dennison, Daniel Zolghadri, Lachlan Watson and Fred Durst.
There are also plenty of independent films to finally catch after their fall festivals runs, including Marielle Heller’s “Nightbitch.” Based on the book by Rachel Yoder, this dark comedy stars Amy Adams...

A supermoon triggers a latent gene, transforming anyone and everyone whose skin touches moonlight into a feral beast in Steven C. Miller’s (Silent Night) Werewolves. That premise alone highlights the scope of ambition and challenges for an independent action-horror feature: Frank Grillo fighting his way through hordes of werewolves requires a lot of stunt and creature work. Luckily, Werewolves boasts a lot of talent on screen and off in delivering just that, including SFX legend and werewolf designer/effects creator Alec Gillis of Studio Gillis.
Gillis’ expansive career has given horror fans no shortage of cherished movie monsters, from the Aliens to Predator to the eerie monster in Smile and Smile 2. Yet despite such an impressive career, Werewolves marks a major first for the artist. “Technically, it’s my first werewolf. Although,” Gillis points to a mask in his office when speaking with Bloody Disgusting via Zoom, “this...

Presented by Steven C. Miller’s Werewolves, Bloody Disgusting is looking to the stars and howling at the moon with Werewolves Week. Today, Jenn Adams sprouts claws and explores the history of werewolf women in horror cinema.
Werewolf folklore has existed since the dawn of recorded history, with each diverse culture creating its own variation of humanoid wolves who emerge from the skin of seemingly ordinary men. Reflecting the dual nature of humanity, most tales involve deception and betrayal, with creatures presenting as friends and neighbors before transforming into beasts under the light of a full moon. Modern interpretations have begun to use this horrific allegory as a vehicle through which to explore the experience of womanhood.
Female werewolves often exhibit uncomfortably aggressive sexuality and buck the expectations of well-behaved women. Many iterations feel quite liberating and present the female werewolf as an aspirational goddess embracing carnal desire, while others...

Presented by Steven C. Miller’s Werewolves, Bloody Disgusting is looking to the stars and howling at the moon with Werewolves Week. Today, Luiz H.C. grabs a handful of silver bullets as he revisits six iconic werewolf deaths in horror history.
Personally, I’ve always found monster movies to be more thrilling when they give the protagonists a fighting chance. This tiny sliver of narrative hope usually comes in the form of a specific weakness that can be exploited in order to defeat whatever creature happens to be attacking, with one of the most famous examples being werewolves’ “allergic reaction” towards silver – with even young children being aware of this fatal weakness.
However, there’s more than one way to skin a cat (or a lycanthrope), and in honor of Steven C. Miller’s upcoming Werewolves, which depicts a world where a Supermoon event has turned millions of people into monsters,...

Spooky season has come and gone, replaced with the cheerful end-of-the-year holiday season… but that doesn’t mean we won’t have the chance to catch some horror movies on the big screen this month. A werewolf movie appropriately titled Werewolves is set to reach theatres this weekend. Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu remake, which looks to be an instant classic, will be released on the 25th. And just two days later, December 27th, the slasher horror comedy Bloody Axe Wound will be getting a limited theatrical release. You can watch the trailer in the embed above.
Written and directed by Matthew John Lawrence, whose middle name lets us know he is not the child actor from Mrs. Doubtfire and Boy Meets World, Bloody Axe Wound has the following synopsis: Abbie Bladecut is a teenager torn between the macabre traditions of her family’s bloody trade and the tender stirrings of her first crush.

Monday Am: Everything is higher: Disney’s Moana 2 is settling its 5-day at $225.2M, while Universal’s Wicked is coming in at $118.2M, and Paramount’s Gladiator II at $44.3M.
3-day for Moana 2 is $139.7M after a $34.7M Sunday, -31% from Saturday. For a project that was originally destined to be on Disney+, and was flipped to theatrical, that’s pretty amazing. The mind wonders how much cash Disney could have raked in had they put Hocus Pocus 2 into theaters at the time of its premiere instead of the service.
“Where the hell did that $175M projection come from?” exclaimed one non-Disney rival executive this morning, “I would get fired if I forecast that!”. While rivals saw a clear path to $200M before Black Friday for Moana 2, Disney didn’t want to over project and be in a situation where grosses were getting walked back. It...

Werewolves Star Frank Grillo and Director Steven C. Miller Talk the Action-Horror Banger (Interview)
Directed by Steven C. Miller and starring Frank Grillo, Werewolves follows a group of scientists who are trying to stop a mutation that turns people into werewolves during a super moon. Blending action and horror, Werewolves is the type of movie that delivers exactly what it promises: 90 minutes of exhilarating, turn-your-brain-off fun.
Steven C. Miller Werewolves Interview
Yet as influential as the werewolf subgenre is for horror, it’s not one that sees many new entries. You might see dozens of vampire movies or zombie movies in any given year, but very few — if any — werewolf films. Werewolves director Steven C. Miller explains why he thinks more filmmakers don’t attempt to tackle the werewolf subgenre:
“First of all, they’re just hard to make,” says Miller. “They’re difficult to get right, so I think that deters a lot of studios — even independent financiers — from trying to make them...

If there’s one thing that Hollywood can’t help themselves following: it’s trends. As soon as something is popular, they want to milk it for all its worth. That’s why, after The Penguin‘s success, the focus is on more Penguin versus just doing another spinoff in the Batman world. And when those execs start to complain about “Penguin fatigue” they’ll have no one to blame except themselves. There’s another trend going on right now and that’s popular horror films being adapted into television shows. The Creep Files was recently released to Shudder, and it got me thinking about other horror franchises that could thrive on television. And clearly, I’m not the only one.
Recently it was announced that Mike Flanagan would be making a Carrie TV show. But that’s far from the only thing in development. Javier Bardem is set to...

The directing duo of Adam Schindler and Brian Netto have worked with the legendary Sam Raimi on episodes of the Raimi-produced anthology series 50 States of Fright and on the thriller Don’t Move, which recently received a successful release through the Netflix streaming service – and while talking to The Hollywood Reporter, they revealed that there are a couple of projects where they’d like to follow in Raimi’s footsteps. For one thing, they would like to revive Darkman, the superhero action franchise that Raimi started with his 1990 film of the same name. They also want to make a Spider-Man movie, but the Spider-Man they want to bring to the screen is Miles Morales.
Scripted by Sam Raimi with Chuck Pfarrer, Ivan Raimi, Daniel Goldin, and Joshua Goldin, Darkman has the following synopsis: When the laboratory of Dr. Peyton Westlake is blown up by gangsters, he is burned beyond recognition.

Jack Huston is no stranger to the movie business. So when the longtime actor and grandson of filmmaker John Huston launched his directorial debut — the boxing drama “Day of the Fight” — to good reviews at last year’s Venice Film Festival, he knew it would still be tough to find distribution in today’s theatrical marketplace. But he had no idea how tough a fight it would be.
“We took on a sort of impossible feat by making a black-and-white period movie starring Michael Pitt,” Huston says of his film, which boasts supporting turns from Joe Pesci, Ron Perlman and Steve Buscemi. ”People walk out of this film so joyous, even [reps from] the biggest distributors. Family Pack on Netflix must be one of the weirdest fantasy fiction comedies out there. There are board games, mythical creatures, time travel, and a family that has no clue how to navigate through another timeline. There are only a few characters in the film primarily from the family itself who are trying to win the game. It is essential to win, and the family goes out of their way to do that.

Review: Thirty years ago, mediocre action movies were populated with mid-level or over-the-hill action stars and had their release relegated to video stores. These same movies were commonly found at your local Redbox a decade ago. Today, the glut of streaming services constantly needs new fodder to entice audiences to choose them over the competition, which means projects that otherwise would not be able to land top talent are now showcases for movie stars slumming it for a paycheck. Canary Black boasts a director...

Movies set in games are not something filmmakers have experimented much in the past. The Jumanji film series and Ready Player One are some of the only examples of lighthearted cinemas set inside a game. Family Pack, a French Netflix original, is yet another addition to this genre. Directed by François Uzan, the film is about a family that time travels into a game set in 15th-century France and has to find a way out.
Spoiler Alert
What was the story of a man in the wolfskin?
Family Pack begins with Jerome, a father of three children, explaining the game ‘Werewolves’ to his family, including his aging father Gilbert. Gilbert, however, was having trouble remembering things around him as he was suffering from dementia. Jerome was married to Marie, and both had children from their previous marriages. Clara was Jerome’s daughter, while Theo was Marie’s son from her previous relationship.

Does A board game transporting the players to another world, where they would have to use their predetermined powers and wits to foil the plan of a mystical evil sound familiar? Well, because it is. Now, if I tell you there is a pack of werewolves involved and a version of Leonardo da Vinci in the same world. However silly it sounds, you cannot help but feel intrigued by the sheer absurdness of this premise. That is what Francois Uzan’s “Family Pack” (Original title: Loups-Garous) has in its strength column. That helps the French film rise above the obvious familiarity with “Jumanji.” The goofy texture of the story elevates the otherwise generic medieval fantasy tale, helping it become a classic escapist funfair for the holiday seasons.

Family Pack is an adventure ride where a family accidentally time travels after trying to play a card game. The game, called Werewolves, is essentially a role-playing game, where a designated person gives each player a card, which states their role on it. This is the game Jerome used to play when he was little, and hoped his family would join. However, his father, who is suffering from what seems to be Alzheimer’s, can’t remember the rules he set up. Never mind the rules; he can’t even remember his son’s name, so I’m not sure why Jerome would hope for such a thing. Anyway, Jerome gives each family member a card; he’s the seer, his father’s the hunter, his elder daughter Clara is the little girl (whatever that means), and Theo, the son, is a thief. While he’s distributing the cards, the family gets distracted,...

Before he makes his Dcu debut as Rick Flag Sr. in the animated Creature Commandos series (he will also play the character in live-action in Superman and Peacemaker season 2), Frank Grillo will go up against a lot of lycanthropes in a new horror movie from director Steven C. Miller.
Leigh Whannell's Wolf Man is coming our way early next year (we're expecting a new trailer this week), but before that, a much less serious and more action-oriented werewolf movie is set to howl into theaters.
The first trailer for Werewolves is now online. The movie, which has been described as "The Purge with werewolves," has a killer premise: "One year ago, a Supermoon turned millions into werewolves. This December, it’s happening again.”
What more could you possibly need to know?
Joining Grillo in supporting roles will be Katrina Law (NCIS), Ilfenesh Hadera (Godfather Of Harlem), James Michael Cummings...
