E.B.'s whiskers get sliced off by a circular saw, yet in the next scene his whiskers show no sign of ever being cut.

Several streets and driveways and parking lots are very wet but there's no evidence it has rained since the skies were clear and other areas were completely dry.

When Fred grabs the big stone, and lifts it over his head to smash EB, you can see that one string on his sweater goes over his shoulder. In the next shot, when you see Fred again, you can see that both strings are on the front of his sweater again.

Fred puts out newspaper and water for EB in the garage and there is stuff lying around. When he comes back in the morning to see if EB is still there the garage is completely clean.

The Easter island Heads (Moai) have their backs to the sea in reality. In the movie they are shown facing out to sea.

When E.B. first arrives in Hollywood he runs past the Hollywood sign at night and the sign is lit, but the Hollywood sign is not lit at night.

When E.B. is playing Rock Band (2007), the bass notes are shown to be hit, yet there is no bass pedal plugged into the drum kit. Also, when Fred pauses the game, he uses the TV remote, yet this can only be done with a game controller.

When Fred finds E.B. playing Rock Band (2007), he pauses the game. But the TV screen shows no pause menu. It just pauses like a video is being played, not the game.

When explaining his bunny ear muffs Carlos says it's "the coldest spring". Easter Island is in the southern hemisphere, people living there would refer to the season two weeks before Easter as autumn or fall.
