This is truly the worst movie ever made. Walter should never act, direct or write ever again. I think he edited the movie as well. He should never do that again either. Nothing made sense. Not one thing. I genuinely don't think Walter has ever heard humans speak to each other before. The dubbing was absolutely atrocious. It was way off. Sometimes a cut to the next "scene" would happen while the dubbing from the previous scene was still finishing. I hope to God that no one was paid for this monstrosity and they did it as a favor to Walter because he "always wanted to make a movie." Well, you made it Walt. Please don't ever do it again.

Low budget. Derivative plot with a Bates-like motel, among other stock schlock elements. Cheesy dialog. Cast of oddballs, showing little emotional connection with their characters or lines. Direction that makes everything move too slowly, while being more stilted than stop-action photography. All the elements for a potential cult classic, but adding up to a waste of their time, and yours.
The producers needed to make choices they eschewed. Camp it up more for a comedy, or ramp up the nudity and gore for a visceral experience. Or both. They did neither, leaving us with an amateurish production that should satisfy no more than a mere few among those who give this a shot. Too many punches pulled in the moments that could have titillated (at least on the streaming version I watched. If there's a sexier or gorier print that survived someone's prudish tampering, I wish I'd had access to that original instead of this limp remainder.)
Better guilty-pleasure flicks abound. Don't get sucked in by the lurid packaging of this one.

The opening, showing some girl whom, I assume, was supposed to be enticing and the "Spheric" logo began the groans of disbelief even before we recognized that this had no script and no actors worthy of the designation. Whose idea was it to excuse this mess in the name of a cautionary tale about spousal abuse? Most of what happened was unclear, made no sense and had repetitious and absurd visuals. There was a shot of a couch pillow before anyone sat down. There was an exciting fence along the roadside which received a respectable amount of film time, and the face of one of the girls--a static shot staring into the camera with, perhaps, the intent of communicating something--used at least three times. The fence shows up again later when nothing else seems to be going on. Everyone's line deliveries were truly awful, mumbled, over-dramatized as well as incomprehensible. No idea who was whom or what was what. For a brief moment, I, too, wondered if it was supposed to be a comedy. There were creepy, superfluous characters who just hung around the coffee shop, looking like they had rolled out of a mental hospital. The ongoing fascination seemed to be with the terrible lip fillers of the principal character and the entirely botched plastic surgery of the taxidermy aficionado. The music and "dancing" were equally terrible , made no sense, as with the attitude, appearance and demise of one of the girls. All this may, in fact, have constituted the plot of this: complete incoherence. We have watched hundreds of Rifftrax and MST disasters, but at the interminable end credits of this waste of time, we all agreed it might just have qualified as the absolute worst piece of dreck we had ever watched. Categorizing it as a thriller must have been a desperate attempt to explain the inexplicable. Nothing thrilling by any stretch of the imagination--which didn't require much stretching.

I had the opportunity to do press for this film and I will never regret to say that it was an amazing experience, I congratulate Angel Princess on producing a great story.
And her performance in it, is 10/10, from now on she has become one of my crush in the seventh art, I hope to buy you a beer later, to discuss more of this film, because it is a jewel.
Dawna Lee Heisig's performance is impeccable, the queen never disappoints.
And Mel "Coolio" Novak is masterful and excellent acting by Llenelle Gibson, Vera R. Taylor, Juliana Rose, Jason Wilburn, Catherine Lydon and Walter Hochbrueckner.
