The original short story written by director Mike McGraner had a length of only 6 pages with an intended run-time of 15 minutes or less. The re-write by writer/producer Dino Tripodis was significantly longer with a new ending bringing the run time of the film up to 45 minutes. Approx. 3 minutes were cut for the final 42 minute release. The special edition DVD release will contain the deleted footage as a bonus feature.
