- TriviaDespite being set in a British prison, this entire move was filmed on location at a youth correctional facility in Whittier, California, USA.
- GoofsDave, Ned and Keith reminisce about the surprise van attack in the first film which relaunched the GSE, and talk about the events as if they were present, Ned and Neith weren't among the 8 GSE members involved in the incident, and whilst Dave was he was already at the station prior to the vans arrival and didn't exit it, contrary to what he says.
- Alternate versionsTo secure the FSK-18 rating in Germany, the German version was cut to tone down certain violent scenes. The not rated SPIO/JK DVD release is 100% uncut.

"Green Street Hooligans 2" is a Drama - Sport movie and the sequel of "Green Street Hooligans", in which we watch a new set of characters and a different setting, with a storyline revolving around a group of young American inmates who form their own football firm while locked up in a British prison.
Since I had already watched the first movie I had high expectations from this sequel but I was a bit let down by it. While it had some fresh potential, the movie struggled to match the energy and emotional depth of the original. The interpretation of Ross McCall who played as Stu was good and did his best to reach the original's iconic interpretations, but it wasn't enough. The prison setting offered some interesting dynamics, but it also limited the story's scope compared to the wider world of football hooliganism seen in the original. All in all, I have to say that "Green Street Hooligans 2" is a decent movie and presents themes of loyalty, violence, and brotherhood, but it often feels predictable and I believe that it's not as good as the first movie.
