In the interrogation scene Burke Wyatt was going to be tortured shirtlessly, while extremely sweaty. He was perspiring on Warden Golan's shoes, which caused him to be slapped in the face and then tortured with electric shocks to his nipples and armpits. Johnny Messner refused to shoot this scene, claiming it to be homoerotic.
