Nirmal Anand ki Puppy won the DCSAFF Film Festival Award for the Best Script. Interestingly, Sandeep Mohan the writer-director of the film has shared his writing credits with his pet dog Hermione in the film since he believes that her contribution to the writing process was immense! Possibly making them the first man-dog writing combo to win an award.
