Comedies are doing quite well on Netflix right now, as American Pie Presents: Girls’ Rules, Employee of the Month, The Grinch and The Croods are all occupying spots on the service’s Top 10 Movies list. And rounding out that chart of funny flicks are two Adam Sandler efforts that have been holding steady throughout the last week – one brand new and another a classic 90s favorite.
Sandler’s recent outing Hubie Halloween is maintaining its #1 spot on the list of most-watched movies, which makes perfect sense considering how much viewers have been enjoying the film since its release earlier this month. In it, Sandler plays the lead role of the titular Hubie, a good intentioned but quirky citizen of a small town who finds himself at the center of a murder mystery during the year’s spookiest season.
Despite its popularity, Hubie Halloween has recently been dethroned by The Haunting of Bly Manor...

It’s senior year at East Great Falls High and Annie, Kayla, Michelle, and Stephanie decide to finally harness their girl power and band together to get what they want. The boys won’t know what hit them when these sassy sweethearts are calling the shots.
It’s hard to believe that its been 11 years since the last American Pie Presents film and 8 years since American Reunion but here we are, in 2020, with a new American Pie film, this time with a more feminist slant; following four female leads as they stumble...

October is off to a spooky good start so far on Netflix, as the platform has already added, among other things, Rob Zombie’s wild House of 1000 Corpses, which has been terrifying viewers over the past week. But of course, there’s also a considerable collection of movies and shows from other genres for those less inclined to enjoy some seasonal scares, such as Jim Carrey’s comedy Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, the emotional Clint Eastwood drama Gran Torino and Will Ferrell’s unusual Stranger Than Fiction, to name just a few.
Today marks a notably quieter day for Netflix, however. Only five pieces of content are available in the service’s newest drop, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t a few worthwhile additions that you may want to take a look at. In fact, the latest American Pie movie just hit the platform, with...

It’s hard to believe that American Pie arrived over twenty years ago as it seems like just yesterday that we were all listening to wild band camp stories and getting hilarious advice from Jim’s awkward father. Over two decades later, the iconic R-rated comedy has spawned multiple sequels and spinoffs and inspired tons of other comedies, but as of yet, we’re still left waiting for a proper American Pie 5.
Whether or not the fifth installment ever happens remains to be seen, of course, but in the meantime, the brand is continuing to pump out spinoffs and the latest is American Pie Presents: Girls’ Rules. As you can see in the trailer up above, it’s not exactly the new outing that fans may be hoping for, but it’s still the first entry in the franchise in quite a long time and looks to be following...

After binge-watching Netflix's Never Have I Ever, you probably found yourself googling the handsome actor who plays Paxton, Darren Barnet. Though the actor is bound to get a lot of attention for his appearance on the show, it's certainly not his first big role.
Before playing the high school hottie on Never Have I Ever, he played another handsome character on This Is Us. During season one, Barnet had a small role as young Jack during episode 11 (see below). Yep, he played a mini Milo Ventimiglia! In addition to This Is Us, he is set to star in the American Pie spinoff, American Pie Presents: Girls' Rules later this year.

As for his life offscreen, Barnet is a Los Angeles native who grew up in Orlando, Fl. Just like his character, Barnet is Japanese American and was a total jock in high school. He...
