In the video the narrator explains that there were no surprises in the acting categories because "the same people keep winning over and over again." Of the four actors who won Oscars only one had previously won in an acting category. Renee Zellweger won Best Supporting Actress for Cold Mountain, and while Brad Pitt won a Best Picture Oscar for producing 12 Years a Slave, three of the four winners in the acting category were new recipients of the award.

Better as it goes along

At first I didn't think much then it became funny then it became interesting then it was dramatic then emotional and finally it was very violent. It really had everything you look for in a movie. It didn't need Hollywood stars to make it good. The story was good enough for any actor to work with. The ending isn't what I expected which makes it even more appealing. The Oscar had nothing to do with the Academy wanting to make history.
