The sound used for Lobo's space bike is the characteristic sound produced by Harley-Davidson V-Twin motors, overlaid with some science fiction noises. The chugging of the engine, however, is unmistakable seeing as Harley-Davidson wanted to patent the sound in the 1990s.

Goofs
Within the story, it is never revealed who offered the bounty for Lobo to 'collect' Kal-El from Earth, so there is a question as to who "out there' knows about him. Also, Lobo has a reputation of always 'getting his man' yet he leaves Superman on Earth with no comment about giving up his bounty.

What Man Of Steel Should Have Been

This was a good superman film that really gave a good introspective look into superman's journey to accept his path. The animation is definitely the best DC has put out in recent times and the art style is really unique and pleasing to look at. If you're looking for a good superman story, this is a certainly a good use of time.
