On Tuesday, 14th January 2020 Channel 4 Television announced that it has commissioned Five Mile Films to produce an 18 episode second series of the documentary series. Series two will again be filmed at Wood Green animal charity in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire. Series one was a hit for the broadcaster averaging 1.4 million viewers per episode and a 7.5% audience share.
