On Thursday, 13th August 2020, ITV announced that they had commissioned a 3-episode second series of the detective drama.
On Thursday, 8th April 2021, ITV announced that they had commissioned a 3-episode third series of the detective drama. Filming would begin on the third series during the summer of 2021.
All episodes thus far (2021) have had titles extremely similar to those of extant films or books, with the exception of "The Man Who Wasn't There", which is the actual title of two different American films (one of them the famous Coen Brothers movie).
