Canadian home video supplier Peace Arch Home Entertainment has become the first independent to include a digital copy of a film with its DVD.
The honors go to "What We Do in Secret," an art house favorite based on the life of punk legend Darby Crash of the Germs, which arrives in stores Nov. 4.
A week later, Peace Arch will include a digital copy on another release, "Shred," a snowboarding comedy from director David Mitchell that stars "Jackass" regular Dave England.
