After going 3-10-1 in his first year with the Lions, the team hasn’t had a losing record since Goff’s been at the helm. And in the 2023 season, Detroit won its first-ever NFC North title, which has given fans hope that the Lions can one day make it to the big game and hoist the Lombardi Trophy.

Ever wondered what really goes on on the football field when the cameras aren’t rolling? Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants gives fans a rare glimpse behind usually tightly locked front office doors.
This season of the Emmy-winning documentary swaps stadium lights for fluorescent office glow as it follows General Manager Joe Schoen and his staff in the aftermath of the 2023 season. Determined to bounce back from a disappointing 6-11 campaign, the Giants aim to revamp their roster through free agency and the draft.
Central to their plans is star running back Saquon Barkley and whether the team will offer him another contract or say farewell. Meanwhile, they must also determine if oft-injured quarterback Daniel Jones fits into their long-term vision.
With narration from Liev Schreiber, Hard Knocks pulls back the curtain on thrilling strategy sessions, negotiations, and tough decisions that shape the future of America’s oldest football franchise.

HBO’s Hard Knocks: Training Camp With the Chicago Bears has been mute on the curse words, and there’s a reason for that.
In a new interview, producer Shannon Furman explained why the NFL team hasn’t used profanity on the show, which is three episodes into the season.
“I’ll be honest, this team curses much less than any other team I’ve been around, but it is out of respect for the McCaskey family,” Furman said on the Chgo Bears podcast, referring to the team’s owners.
Furman added, “It’s something that they don’t do and wouldn’t want to see it. So it’s just kind of been a decision that was made out of respect for them, letting us in their house and wanting to be respectful to them.”

The Chicago Bears, one of the NFL’s oldest and proudest franchises, are clawing their way back to contention. The Bears took quarterback Caleb Williams (pictured above with head coach Matt Eberflus), the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner from USC, with the No. 1 overall selection at the NFL Draft. Eight picks later, they took Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze. And now the NFL is taking notice. The Hard Knocks 2024 release schedule officially confirmed for the programs featuring the New York Giants and the Chicago Bears.
Narrated by Hollywood veteran Liev Schreiber, Hard Knocks takes an annual deep dive behind the scenes into NFL locker rooms and front offices for the new season. Focused on one team per year for the show's first 14 seasons, 2020 broke the mold by having multiple organizations featured on their journey to the Super Bowl.
2024 will take this further, as three programs will highlight six of the NFL's 32 teams in one year. Four teams will be featured in the first-ever series focused on an entire division (the AFC North) while the other two teams get more of a centralized spotlight.
