Zapruder Film of Kennedy Assassination (Short 1970)
When we're first introduced to the character of Pooh-Bear, he is setting up a mock reenactment of the Kennedy assassination. The reenactment consists of Pooh-Bear, directing the whole operation, three "shooters" and one man operating a camera -- representative of the Zapruder camera. As the scene progresses, a small, remote-controlled toy truck rolls out -- obviously representative of the vehicle president Kennedy was riding in at the time of the assassination. A little while after this, the man operating the camera is shown, and immediately after this, the shot is switched to a grainy, pinkish, shot, intended to mimic the appearance of the Zapruder film. With the obvious farcical nature of this reenactment, coupled with that fact the Zapruder film is mockingly mimicked, could only be interpreted as a spoof of The Zapruder film of Kennedy assassination.Dirty Harry (1971)
