Despite the series' worldwide locales, the production rarely left Metropolitan Toronto.
The episode entitled "Lost Contact" (#2.10) is dedicated to the memory of stuntman Chris Lamon, who died in an accident on the set of the film Exit Wounds (2001).
In 2015 all episodes were remastered to HD in widescreen for television airings and DVD releases.
In the second and third seasons, there are several hints that Trinity College is located in Boston, Massachusetts:
- In Cross of Voodoo (2000), Nigel dials a Boston phone number to reach Claudia in her office.
- In Warlock of Nu Theta Phi (2002), the college is within close proximity to Salem, Massachusetts.
- In Pandora's Box (2002), Karen reads a newspaper based in New England.
