Maybe it was a gay love story, maybe the writer was simply very unprepared to be a writer. After all, movies were made based on party seniority, than relations, than quotas. Having something to say was one of the last things one needed to work for the movies. And being creative was a clear sign of trouble.
But all the 60+ minutes I was left with the impression of a gay love movie. The two main characters are two boys who's speech can be either poorly crafted dialogue or gay innuendos. About half time in the feature you get the girls. Who are also acting funny. Bad dialog? Uninspired scenes? Or the girls are in love with each other?
