(at around 47 mins) In the boardroom scene, Loki is carving the voodoo doll, and just before Bartleby stands up, the head falls off of the doll. However, the doll's head is back on when Loki places it on the table.
(at around 47 mins) In the Mooby headquarters, the glass that covers some of the posters (the Surly Duck poster in particular) is seen in some shots, but removed in others. (This was done to prevent reflections of the crew from being seen.)
(at around 1h 13 mins) Rufus disappears briefly during confrontation on the train.
(at around 1h) When Silent Bob sprays the Golgothen, his finger holding the button switches to his thumb then back to his finger when the camera angle switches.
(at around 42 mins) The amount of Rufus' "Egg A Mooby Muffin" changes inconsistently between shots when he, Bethany, Jay and Silent Bob are eating breakfast.
(at around 7 mins) The Catholic concept of a Plenary Indulgence is incorrectly described. When Bartleby describes the Plenary Indulgence offered upon passing through the doorway of the Cathedral during Cardinal Glick's re-dedication ceremony, he states that by passing through the doorway "all their sins will be forgiven." Additionally, Grant Hicks describes plenary indulgence as a "clean slate." However, an indulgence is not the forgiveness of sins, it is the removal of the need for temporal punishment for sins that have already been forgiven through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, i.e. confession and absolution by a priest. The indulgence allows the removal of the need for punishment through penance in the current life, or through Purgatory in the world to come.
(at around 1h 30 mins) When arguing with Azrael about the war in Heaven and Azrael's refusal to fight, Serendipity says "Elvis was an artist. But that didn't stop him from joining the service in time of war. And that's why he's The King, and you're a schmuck." There are two problems with that. Number One, Elvis Presley didn't join, he was drafted. He had no choice. Number Two, Elvis was drafted during peace time.
When Jay is speeding in Bethany's car without shifting, a warning indicator comes on next to the speedometer reading "CHECK GAGES," instead of "CHECK GAUGES."
(at around 5 mins) In the airport Loki gets a nun to leave her order and then says he loves to screw with the 'clergy'. But clergy means ordained and nuns are not ordained.
(at around 1h 45 mins) At the end of the movie, Bethany asks Jay, "Where's the nearest boardwalk?" When Jay replies, "Asbury Park," she asks, "Do they have skee ball there?" Jay then replies, "Yes." While Asbury Park, NJ had a long history of being a resort town, it had fallen into major decline in the late 1980s, and when Dogma takes place, there were in fact no amusement rides or arcades, and therefore no skee ball on the Asbury Park boardwalk.
(at around 10 mins) When Bethany is at Mass, the priest says, following the homily, "Let us now rise for the recession of faith." The correct wording is "Let us rise for the profession of faith," which is then followed by the recital of the Apostles' Creed. This was most likely done to satirize and/or draw attention to the idea that people's faith had faltered at the time the film takes place (hence "recession").
(at around 1h 19 mins) Protestants usually acknowledge that Mary was a virgin only until after Jesus' birth. Four brothers of Jesus are named in the Bible: James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon. However, Catholic tradition insists that these four (and some sisters also mentioned in the text) were cousins of Jesus and not siblings, thus maintaining the Perpetual Virginity of Mary. Since Bethany only knows Catholic doctrine, the news that Mary had other children comes as a surprise to her.
In the disclaimers at the beginning of the film, the word "judgment" is spelled "judgement". This is the UK English spelling of the word and is the spelling found in the King James Bible - it was clearly used for effect.
(at around 1h 1 min) If Azrael could find Bartleby and Loki to warn them about everyone looking for them, why couldn't anyone else just as easily find them too? Because Azrael explains in the bar scene that he was using an incantation he learned in hell to keep them cloaked. and off Heaven's radar.
(at around 1h 30 mins) The seam in Bartleby's sweatshirt where it's supposed to tear apart is visible. It also appears to be held together by Velcro after he pulls the halves apart.
(at around 1h 21 mins) When Metatron walks across the water you can see a dark platform in the water where he is walking.
(at around 1h 50 mins) The endotracheal tube that John Doe Jersey uses to breathe, and which is removed by Bethany, is extremely short; it is only a few centimetres long (it ends in the actor's mouth) when it should reach the trachea.
(at around 1h 40 mins) The cables lowering down the "flying" Bartleby in front of the church near the end of the movie are clearly visible.
(at around 1h 35 mins) The gun the hockey stick teen holds on Silent Bob is obviously a prop as the end of its barrel has no end hole.
The gun that Loki uses appears to be a Desert Eagle .50 caliber, however, every time he shoots it, it emits little more than a "pop" similar to perhaps a .22 or maybe a .38. A Desert Eagle .50 caliber pistol emits a very distinctive "boom" much closer to that of a shotgun.
(at around 9 mins) Reflection of camera and dolly operators visible in the "Wisconsin Winter Magic" poster on the airport (right after Bartleby and Loki passed the Cheesehead Country guy).
(at around 53 mins) A wooden board is seen being moved against the doors in the board room to prevent them from swinging open, just before the blood is splashed on them.
(at around 1h 45 mins) When Bartleby turns around to confront Jay, Bartleby props his wings up, and the mechanics can be seen by his right shoulder.

(at around 1h 30 mins) The film's climax takes places in New Jersey, yet a broadcast truck can be seen with call letters which begin with "K." All broadcast stations east of the Mississippi River start with a "W."
(at around 18 mins) When the Metatron transports himself and Bethany to the restaurant, nobody seems to notice that they appeared out of nowhere. Furthermore, Bethany is not asked to leave because she only wearing a shirt, panties, and socks; she has no pants or shoes on.
(at around 19 mins) In the Mexican Restaurant scene, Metatron clearly said that angels can't drink alcohol because of Gods decree. Earlier in the scene, he quickly says "stop a couple of angels from entering and thus negating all existence" and immediately has a sip of tequila, it cuts to Bethany and you don't even hear him spitting it out, it cuts back to Metatron and his mouth is empty. Where did the tequila go?
(at around 39 mins) After Rufus falls to earth, when he is reading the Aramaic to Bethany, he concludes by pointing out Jesus' name Left-to-Right while Aramaic is read Right-to-Left.
(at around 16 mins) "Seraphim" is actually the plural form of "seraph".
(at around 48 mins) When Bartleby mentions all the Mooby establishments and merchandise in front of the Mooby Inc board, he and the board never mention the fast-food restaurant seen earlier in the movie.
(at around 3 mins) When Loki convinces the Nun to take up an Atheistic lifestyle she is working/traveling alone. But even after Vatican II loosened restrictions on clothing and behavior, virtually every order still requires that their Sisters travel in pairs to forestall just such an occurrence.
(at around 1h 19 mins) Rufus says to Bethany, "You are the great great great GREAT great grand-niece of Jesus Christ." If he was actually trying to be accurate, there would be around eighty "greats."
