Jim goes to see a doctor about his giant head. After seeing strange lights in the sky one night, he woke up with this condition. On his way home, he's attacked by a gang and he finds out what's inside his head.

Roy convinces Jim to go on the date he was suppose to have with the girl he likes. It turns out she's into Reservoir Dogs. However, another alien lands on Earth and he's not a friendly type.

Roy explains Jim why he's on Earth. He must find five pieces of an alien device that can protect the Earth from the incoming alien invasion.

Jim joins a support group that helps people with strange bodily conditions. However, Roy is about to be lynched at the Statue of Liberty and calls Jim telepathically for help.

The second piece of the device Roy needs to protect the Earth is in the local museum. However, Gork, the evil alien, is on their trail.

Jim comes up with a plan on how to deal with both Gork and the Feds and kill two birds with one stone.

The third piece of the alien device is in a jungle, but Jim and his friends must deal with a local tribe of deceptively friendly headhunters first.

The fourth piece of the device is discovered in a small hick town by the locals, who, not knowing what it is, turn it into a tourist trap by likening it to the Arthurian legend of the sword in the stone.

Jim and Roy are after the final piece of the alien device. However, it's located near an FBI hideout secured by many deadly booby traps. Even the road to there is full of perils.

Jim takes Roy to meet his support group. Roy and secretive Mona hit it off and go on a date. Mona even asks Roy to stay with her for the night, so Roy gets a chance to pick her brains and uncover her secret.

Jim asks his support group to help him free Roy from the clutches of the maddened Dr. Lucas Elliot, who thinks Roy is the evil alien. The Feds try to stop them.

Jim and his support group venture into the secret high security facility, where Roy is being held. Gork continues to manipulate Dr. Lucas Elliot.

Since the last piece of the alien device can not be retrieved, Jim must literally use his head in a possibly deadly experiment to try to power up Roy's device in a desperate attempt to save Earth from the alien invasion.
