Trivia
One of the first Canadian TV series to bring up the topic of residential schools. Residential schools for indigenous Canadian children, often religious schools in nature, existed well into the mid 1990's, and were often breeding grounds for abuse and cultural erasure. On June 11th, 2008, Canada's Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, publicly apologized to Canada's Indigenous Peoples for the IRS system, admitting that residential schools were part of a Canadian policy on forced Indigenous assimilation.

North of 60 has been voice of native peoples

North of 60 , Broke though everything , For native people it has voice of all those who can't speak out but cry out for understanding with brilliant ways of a tribal lands and peoples who show family , Its dances around your sense's and make you closer too being what native culture is all about with the find acting of cast. Like Tina Keeper has strong willed woman who raise a son and is a law person , An independent woman who is smart know's what going on her rez, And you see young actors talents in Nathienial Arcand , Adam beach , . You will see a guy called Teevee , who can break your heart or make you mad and many others in cast that is memorable , Please watch this ,Native's and non- natives too .will love it .
