A recent video from the set of The Fantastic Four: First Steps has gone viral on social media, prompting speculation about Chris Evans’ involvement in the film. The video shows a crew member bringing an actor onto the film set in Spain while covering him in a jacket. Fans came up with several guesses as to who this secret actor is.

Evans was a popular guess after the actor reprised his role as the Human Torch in the previous MCU film, Deadpool & Wolverine. Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn will play the titular superheroes in the film. Besides these four actors, Ralph Ineson and Julia Garner are also confirmed as Galactus and Silver Surfer in the film.

While it still hasn't been confirmed, we've now heard from multiple sources that Franklin Richards will be a key part of The Fantastic Four: First Steps and both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed at Comic-Con that Marvel's First Family will appear in the latter two movies, but what exactly will young Franklin bring to the party?
According to insider @MyTimeToShineH, the son of Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman will have the ability to traverse the Multiverse in First Steps and Doomsday. That's sure to be a key plot point given how important this team looks set to be to the wider Multiverse Saga.
Remember, it was back in August when we first heard that Galactus supposedly summons Marvel's First Family by sending the Silver Surfer to Earth, demanding they bring Franklin to him. If they refuse, then he'll destroy their planet.

For a time, The Fantastic Four: First Steps casting rumours were seemingly never-ending. It reached a point where it became clear Marvel Studios was approaching a lot of names for the reboot, including Gladiator II star Paul Mescal.
Or did they? Despite numerous reports that Mescal was the frontrunner for the role of Johnny Storm/Human Torch, the Irish actor has now denied ever being approached to "Flame On!" in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"No, no, no. No [Laughs]," he said when Josh Horowitz asked if there was any truth to the rumours. "I don't think it's...I don't think it's for me. It's not for me. I think...I wasn't brought up watching those films. I wasn't drawn to them."
"I was more of a Lord of the Rings guy in that sense," Mescal continued. "They weren't films I was drawn to."

Yesterday, Marvel Studios released a new synopsis for The Fantastic Four: First Steps which ended with, "And if Galactus' plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal."
The mention of this battle getting "personal" has sent speculation into overdrive, and some clarification may have come our way today courtesy of scooper @MyTimeToShineH.
The prolific leaker claims, "It's personal because Galactus is after Franklin Richards. He tells them to bring the boy to him or he'll destroy the Earth." Why does he want Franklin? That hasn't not been revealed but the comic books do hold some clues.
Based on what we know about The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel Studios is pulling inspiration from Earth X, a comic that saw the female Shalla-Bal become Silver Surfer, by further exploring the connection between Frankin and the world-eating baddie.

Fantastic Four: First Steps is one of the most exciting upcoming movies in the MCU. It will finally introduce Marvel’s first family to the big screen, after several past attempts that didn’t quite work out—though that depends on who you ask.
We know the main cast for the movie: Pascal will play Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby will play Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach will play Ben Grimm, and Joseph Quinn will play Johnny Storm.
After the movie was announced, rumors started saying that Franklin and Valeria Richards, Sue and Reed’s children, would also appear. Franklin is said to have a connection to Galactus (played by Ralph Ineson), and he’s reportedly born in space.
Yesterday, an official summary for First Steps was released, describing the Fantastic Four’s battle against Galactus as “personal.”

Marvel's First Family are on their way — and this time, it's personal. Over the past few months, the folks over at Marvel Studios have been carefully drip, drip, dripping tantalising tidbits of info about Matt Shakman's upcoming MCU movie The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Back in February, it was confirmed that Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach had landed the leads in the film. And since then, we've seen Ralph Ineson cast as planet-eater Galactus, Kevin Feige tease the movie's 60s setting, and even glimpsed the Fantasticar at San Diego Comic Con. Now, as shooting nears completion on the McU's 37th entry, Marvel has finally offered up an eyebrow-raising first official synopsis for First Steps.
Per a press release posted on Disney's own press site, the plot description for The Fantastic Four: First Steps reads as follows: "Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world,...

Fantastic Four: First Steps is one of the most anticipated MCU releases, as it finally brings Marvel’s “first family” to the big screen after some past unsuccessful attempts.
In the main cast, Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards, while Vanessa Kirby takes on the role of Sue Storm. Ebon Moss-Bachrach will portray Ben Grimm, and Joseph Quinn will play Johnny Storm.
Soon after the movie was announced, rumors began circulating that it would include Franklin and Valeria Richards, the children of Reed and Sue. Franklin is said to have a connection with Galactus (played by Ralph Ineson), as he is supposedly born in space.
Recent set leaks show Vanessa Kirby holding a child, though it hasn’t been confirmed if that child is actually Franklin.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up to bring the final act of its ongoing Multiverse Saga to the screen. The franchise has been telling this particular story across the cinema screen and the Disney Plus streaming service for almost four years now, producing multiple larger-than-life movies and debuting a number of TV shows set within the same shared universe; all of which have focused on characters important to this new and ambitious storyline.
There has definitely been a lot more commitment required to keep up with the new characters and stories within the MCU since the Multiverse Saga began in Phase Four, but that hasn't been a problem for the franchise's most devoted fans. From future Young Avengers like Kate Bishop, Ms. Marvel, and Billy Maximoff to the larger-than-life Agatha Harkness, there have been plenty of wonderful new additions to the lore to complement the stalwarts of the Infinity...

Disney’s D23 is among the main events during which we find out some major information about upcoming Disney projects. It is not the only one, but if we had to make a short list, D23 would most definitely end up there. This time, though, we are not reporting about the main event, but rather the D23 Brazil, which was held in the South American country recently.
While there were several important things to take from the event, what interests us most are the new look panels and presentations related to a series of upcoming projects, including both movies and TV shows, both Marvel-related and non-Marvel-related.
In light of that, you are about to see more new images related to the Captain America: Brave New World, Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Snow White movies, as well as about the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again TV series, all four of which will premiere next year!

2025 promises to be a jam-packed year for MCU content, though The Fantastic Four: First Steps remains one of the year's most highly anticipated releases. The reboot has been a long time coming and with WandaVision director Matt Shakman calling the shots, it feels like we're in store for something special.
We've known for a while that H.E.R.B.I.E. will feature in the movie as the adorable Highly Engineered Robot Built for Interdimensional Exploration was teased in the first promo poster.
Now, The Cosmic Circus brings word that British actor and puppeteer Jack Parker is bringing H.E.R.B.I.E. to life in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. He's previously played Pip in The Acolyte and Shrinker in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and counts the likes of the live-action How to Train Your Dragon and Snow White among his upcoming credits.
It's unclear whether Parker will also voice H.E.R.B.

"So, you're familiar with two sins. How about a third?" Okay, that particular "Community" quote is a bit of an ominous way to start an article, but it also felt less hacky than writing "Third time's the charm?" Indeed, Marvel is now in the process of bringing its first family back to the big screen with "The Fantastic Four: First Steps," which marks the Four's third live-action iteration after Fox and director Tim Story's two "Fantastic Four" films and the studio's Josh Trank-helmed disaster "FANT4STIC" aka "Fantastic Four" 2015. The bar being as low as it is after the previous entries in the franchise, that puts just a tad less pressure on "First Steps" director Matt Shakman as the "WandaVision" veteran prepares to introduce Mister Fantastic and the rest of the gang to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is currently filming at Durdle Door in Dorset, England, and Joseph Quinn's Johnny Storm/Human Torch has been spotted in full costume.
Based on what little we see here, Johnny walks down the beach alone before moodily standing on the coast while watching the tide come in. It's hard to say where this is meant to be doubling for, though the Torch may have found his way to the UK. The iconic tourist location may also be doubling for an alien planet.
If we're lucky, the rest of Marvel's First Family will also be spotted suited up in the coming weeks. The only other member of the team spotted since shooting started is The Thing who, at the time, was being brought to life with a practical costume.

We've been hearing whispers of a Silver Surfer project for quite a while at this stage, and it seems Marvel Studios is still planning to give the space-faring hero the spotlight in his (or her?) own solo outing down the line.

Although the Disney+ project is yet to be officially confirmed, there’s been a wave of speculations surrounding Garner’s role. While a few fans are already expressing disappointment, others came forward to clarify that the actress isn’t going to play a gender-swapped version.

There's understandably a lot of excitement to see each member of Marvel's First Family in Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps, but it's The Thing we know many of you really can't wait to see in action.
The Bear and Andor star Ebon Moss-Bachrach will bring the Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Thing to life in the MCU and talked to Variety about his transformation at the 2024 Emmy Awards yesterday evening.
"I’m doing a lot of motion capture on [‘Fantastic Four’]," the actor said, explaining why he'd ditched his usual stubble. "So for maximum-data facial capture, I have to be clean-shaven."
Confirming that they're roughly six weeks into production, Bachrach confirmed he's only seen "crude renderings" of himself as Ben Grimm and remains eager to check out the finished product.
"They got so many amazing animators working on it, literally hundreds of people working on it," he noted. "We’ve been shooting for about six weeks,...

Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby will soon be seen together in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s try at Marvel’s first family in the film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Since they are all set to bring Reed Richards and Sue Storm to our screens, it goes without saying that the two actors are spending a lot of time together. While their relationship seems absolutely adorable to many, there will always be some who would stoop down to spreading negativity.

Take the San Diego Comic-Con for example, when Pedro Pascal motioned for Vanessa Kirby to hold his hand, few were quick to assume that the former was using anxiety as an excuse to touch the latter. Thankfully, Vanessa Kirby’s latest words for her co-star are enough to put these Negative Nancys to rest.

The first movie in James Gunn’s DC Universe is currently slated to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. Gunn is one of the shared universe’s overseers, and just to make sure the franchise gets off on the right foot, he has tasked himself to write and direct Superman (formerly Superman: Legacy). Its placement in the middle of July could help its chances of becoming a major summer blockbuster.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is scheduled for July 25, 2025, exactly two weeks after Superman. Of course, Marvel Studios would hope to claim a big piece of the superhero movie market share with its Fantastic Four introduction, which could mean encroaching on some of Superman’s ticket sales. Although this is not the first time that two popular comic book properties have tangled up at theatrical venues, this is shaping up to be a particularly high-profile box office bout.

“Fantastic Four: First Steps” is set to be one of the most highly anticipated MCU projects, slated for release in 2025. The film will introduce Marvel’s first family to the MCU, along with some of their most iconic villains.
It’s already confirmed that Galactus will appear, voiced by Ralph Ineson, and Julia Garner has been cast as Shalla-Ball, a female version of the Silver Surfer and Galactus’ Herald.
Filming for “Fantastic Four: First Steps” is currently underway at Pinewood Studios in London, and we’ve already seen several set leaks. These include Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm holding a young Franklin Richards, and a recent video showing crew members adjusting The Thing’s costume.
The latest set leak could be either a minor detail or a significant reveal. An image circulating on X, which appears to be from the “First Steps” set, shows a woman in black clothing covered in gold body paint.

With DC undergoing reconstruction and MCU cutting down on its slate for this year, 2024 has been a pretty quiet year when it comes to Cbm and major franchise releases in general. However, 2025 seems to be a total contrast, as apart from David Corenswet’s Superman, a plethora of releases from other big franchises are also lined up, including Fantastic Four and now Jurrasic Park.

Moreover, with Fantastic Four‘s release getting pushed and Universal revealing Jurrasic Park Rebirth‘s release date, things are looking a bit difficult for the next Superman, box-office-wise.
David Corenswet’s Superman Is Set To Face Fierce Competition Upon Release
Although, technically, James Gunn‘s Dcu will kickstart later this year with Creature Commandos, next year’s Superman is set to be the first major entry in the new chapter of DC. Reasonably, every eye is on this project,...

‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ is easily one of the most exciting MCU projects. The movie, bound for 2025 release is going to introduce Marvel’s first family to the MCU as well as some of their most notable villains.
We already know that Galactus will be in the movie, voiced by Ralph Ineson, and that the role of Galactus’ Herald went to Julia Garner who will be portraying Shalla-Ball, a female version of Silver Surfer.
The filming is currently taking place at Pinewood Studios in London, and we’ve already had several set leaks, including Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm holding a young Franklin Richards and most recently, we’ve seen a leaked video showing crew members adjusting The Thing’s costume.
Now the latest set leak could turn out to be largely irrelevant or a major thing. An image started circulating on X that is very clearly from the set of ‘First Steps.

Marvel Studios' long-awaited reboot of the Fantastic Four franchise, titled The Fantastic Four: First Steps, finally arrives in theaters next summer. First announced at Comic-Con in 2019, it's been a long time coming for fans of Marvel's First Family.
An impressive cast has since been assembled for a movie which promises to have major implications for the wider MCU as we head into the next Avengers movies. Production recently began in the UK, bringing an early wave of surprisingly revealing set photos.
By far the biggest talking point so far is, of course, our first look at The Thing. In this feature, we share a new shot of that practical costume (which confirms there is indeed someone wearing the suit) after taking a deep dive into everything else we've spotted in recent weeks.
You can take a look through this fantastic feature by clicking on the "Next"/"View List" buttons below.

After years of longing since the original film series and an unforgettable mishit in between, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally bringing back the Fantastic Four, and fans couldn’t be happier. The principal photography for the same has also reportedly started, and so have the leaks and spoilers. Like Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s most recent leaked look as The Thing.

Taken presumably from the sets of the movie, this exclusively leaked clip has been wreaking havoc on the internet and features the actor preparing the look for his role. And, surprisingly enough, as it seems from the way he is getting prepped for it, the MCU just may not be using the same movie magic for this F4 hero that it does for Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk – at least, not to the same extent.

British royal family news reveals that Princess Kate was seen today at Crathie Kirk church on the Balmoral estate. She was accompanied by her husband Prince William, and their son and heir, son Prince George.
This is only the third known appearance by the princess since acknowledging her cancer diagnosis in March. This year Kate presented trophies at Wimbledon in July and appeared at Trooping the Colour in June.
Royal Family News – Kate And William Attend Church
It was reported that the family of five enjoyed a Nerf ball battle last week at Bear Grylls’ Go Wild festival at Holkham Hall although there were no pictures published as the family viewed it as a private outing.
Today Kate looked resplendent in a brown checkered print coat from Holland Cooper and a spry fedora hat adorned with feathers. Kate wore her hair down and accessorized with gold earrings.

Jessica Alba has worked her way up in the industry and has starred in some of the most popular film and TV projects over the years. Other projects that elevated her reputation as a movie star were Sin City and the two Fantastic Four films by Tim Story.

While the return of Robert Downey Jr. sparked a lot of excitement among fans of the MCU, there is a section of the fandom that has viewed this move as a complete and utter mistake. While Iron Man was a very celebrated character in the MCU, thanks to Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal, bringing the actor back to play one of the most iconic villains might not have been the right choice after all.

Work continues on The Fantastic Four: First Steps set in England and it appears the alternate reality Times Square has finally been completed.
As you can see in the newly revealed photos and videos below, signage has been added to the buildings along with a giant TV screen and well over a dozen '60s-style vehicles. However, both they and everything else we see have an interesting retro-futuristic spin on them.
That's because the reboot doesn't just take place in the 1960s, but in a world far more advanced than our own which appears to have benefited massively from Mister Fantastic's genius.
We'd imagine the cast will soon start shooting on this massive set, though it remains to be seen whether we'll get any photos of footage of Marvel's First Family in action.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is busy populating its Sacred Timeline with a slew of Marvel Legacy characters in preparation for Secret Wars. There have been rumours for a while now about Franklin Richards factoring into The Fantastic Four: First Steps and we now have new intel on how the son of Reed Richards and Sue Storm Richards will be linked to the reboot's villain, Galactus.
According to scooper @MyTimeToShineH (meaning we're taking this with a hefty pinch of salt), the World Eater summons Marvel's First Family by sending the Silver Surfer to Earth, demanding they bring Franklin to him.
If they refuse, then he'll destroy their planet. As for what he wants with the boy, that isn't revealed, though we can look to the comics for clues.
So far, it appears Marvel Studios is pulling inspiration from "Earth X," a reality which saw Shalla-Bal become Silver Surfer, by creating a connection between Frankin and the world-eating baddie.
In that world, the incredibly powerful young mutant agreed to let the High Evolutionary transform...

Chapter 5, Season 4 of Fortnite, is about to kickstart, bringing Dr. Doom to the island. Epic Games has already released a teaser showcasing the gameplay, items, and cosmetics that we can experience in the upcoming season. However, the most significant change that has gone under the radar is that battle passes won’t be exclusive moving forward.
A Fortnite battle pass is a great way for players to earn various rewards, such as cosmetics and V-Bucks. Traditionally, the cosmetics offered in most battle passes have been exclusive, meaning they are no longer available once the battle pass expires. Surprisingly, Epic Games is changing how they function, making them no longer exclusive.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps came to Disney’s D23 movie and TV preview at Anaheim’s cavernous Honda Center with just a little bit more than they showed at San Diego Comic-Con two weeks earlier. With the movie now two weeks into filming and the cast working in London, Marvel’s First Family—Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm)—delivered a video greeting to the 12,000 fans in the arena.
The four were seated around what could have been the gang’s kitchen table, but what drew the most attention, of course, was that Quinn was also wearing what looked very much like our first look at a Fantastic Four costume from the movie. But it’s not the classic 1960s suit you might have expected from this superhero period piece.

The first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps screened during San Diego Comic-Con last month, and while the footage did leak shortly after, it was a pretty terrible recording.
The same teaser was shown at D23 last night, and a much better-quality version has now found its way online.
The footage introduces us to this latest take on Marvel's First Family, as Reed, Sue, Ben and Johnny prepare to embark on a mission to outer space that will change their lives forever.
We don't get to see any of the heroes in superhero mode (aside from a glimpse of The Thing in silhouette), but we do get a first look at Galactus right at the end - along with another character who wasn't visible in the Sdcc version: H.E.R.B.I.E the robot!

As a special treat for fans in attendance at D23, long-time Marvel Studios composer Michael Giacchino has unveiled his main theme for The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Fans thought that the music that accompanied the drone show at Sa Diego Comic-Con last month might have given us a little taste of the score, but this sounds quite different.
In addition to providing the score for several MCU films, Giacchino directed the Werewolf By Night Special Presentation, and there are rumors that he's in line to helm the planned Midnight Sons movie.
The Sdcc panel revealed that the reboot has been given a new title - First Steps - and the first teaser trailer was also screened for those in attendance. A leaked version did the rounds online shorty after, but has yet to (and probably won't) be officially released.

The same photographer who recently provided us with an early look at The Fantastic Four: First Steps UK set has today posted photos showing an actor they believe is Vanessa Kirby.
She's blonde and appears to be wearing the same blue costume we saw in that first look concept art for the reboot, so we'd say there's a good chance this is indeed the Mission: Impossible star. If not, then it's likely a stunt double.
We're unsure whether cameras were rolling but it looks like the Invisible Woman is cradling a baby as she falls to the ground.
That baby could be significant too because there have been rumblings for a while now that The Fantastic Four: First Steps will feature Reed and Sue's young son, Franklin Richards. On the page, he's an incredibly powerful mutant with the ability to reshape and create realities, potentially making him a crucial part...

During Marvel Studios' Hall H panel at the San Diego Comic-Con last weekend, it was confirmed that Michael Giacchino will compose the score for The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
He's no stranger to the MCU, or superheroes in general for that matter, after previously working on the likes of Spider-Man: No Way Home and The Batman (he also stepped behind the camera to make a splash as Werewolf by Night's director).
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is a particularly interesting project for Giacchino because many of you will know him best for Pixar's The Incredibles franchise. Marvel's First Family heavily inspired those movies, so what does that mean for the composer's approach to Reed, Sue, Ben, and Johnny?
"They're similar and different in many, many ways," Giacchino acknowledged in an interview with Nerd Reactor. "There's definitely room for both in the world. Those are two where I'll have my feet in both of those.

The Fantastic Four are on their way into the MCU, and fans cannot be more hyped. After an entire decade since Fox’s last attempt at a Fantastic Four franchise, Marvel Studios is putting the rights of the character to good use, connecting the team with the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe, which would have the characters co-exist with the X-Men and The Avengers.

A new rumor reportedly suggests that the film is going to dwell pretty deep into the First Family’s mythology in the comics, with a key mutant making their way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Audiences already know that it is not going to be an origin story, but bringing this particular character into the film could change the course of the entire franchise altogether.

The Russos are back to direct two more Avengers films, and they’re bringing Robert Downey Jr. in to help. Is Marvel getting increasingly desperate, or is The Avengers: Doomsday exactly what the studio needs right now?
By now, you’ll have heard that Robert Downey Jr. is coming back to the MCU. The Iron Man actor will play Doctor Doom, one of the most iconic villains from the comics. The casting was revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday evening (or early Sunday morning UK time) as Downey Jr. emerged from a flock of Dooms, pulled off his mask and basked in the adoring screams of the crowd in Hall H.
“New mask, same task!” Downey Jr. told the crowd, who could not get enough of him.
Marvel’s decision to bring Downey Jr. back has been met with criticism and enthusiasm in almost equal measure. Many are excited to see Downey Jr.
