Miles books a ticket on TWA flight 129 from Los Angeles to San Francisco just as a final boarding call announcement for that flight begins. The departures board behind him shows that the flight leaves from gate 27, but seconds later, the announcement concludes with "Will passengers please proceed to gate 15?"
When Miles asks out Madeline, she says she has rehearsals every night except Wednesday. Then later when she says she can see him Wednesday, he asks "What about rehearsal?" and she replies "They canceled it."
At the Los Angeles Airport, the departure board behind Miles lists a flight to "Michigan", which is extremely unlikely, since flight information usually lists flights by city, not state. All the other domestic flights displayed on the board are cities: New York, Dallas, San Francisco, Miami, Washington, and Reno.
The computer tunes to 106.0 FM to listen to Dr. Ruth. This is not a used frequency in the United States. The digit after the decimal is always an odd number.
In the final sequence when the theme song "Together In Electric Dreams" is being played, a person carrying an '80s boom box-styled hi-fi walks past; in the reflection of the tape deck of the hi-fi the crew and equipment are visible.
Miles and Edgar both quote the wrong release dates to each other for the respective "Sleeping Beauty" and "Cinderella" movies they are referencing.
