Series creator Rod Serling wrote the screenplay for the pilot episode using the pseudonym "John Phillips".
Oddly, the episodes of this show were neither 30 minutes nor 60 minutes but were in fact 45 minutes long. This and another show that also ran 45 minutes made up an hour and a half block on the ABC Network in 1969. This would not be unique in Great Britain nor some other European countries but highly unusual for American network television.
Tiffany Bolling, who was born in 1947, said in an interview in 1991 that she was 17 when she started filming this show, but in that same interview she said she was 18 when she started dating Frank Sinatra when they met filming Tony Rome (1967) two years before. That would make her 19 or 20 during this show.
