Betty Marsden said during filming to Dilys Laye that she always wanted to die with a glass of gin in her hand. In Denville Hall, a home for old actors, this is exactly what happened after Miss Marsden arrived there in July 1998: she collapsed and died at the home's bar while drinking gin and smoking a cigarette.

Goofs
Miss Haggard's blue towel "turban" disappears and reappears between shots when Babs' bra comes off.

Alternate versions
As with many Carry On films the BBFC required cuts for an 'A' (PG) certificate. Although the double-entendres during the tent scene were eventually allowed, the word 'erection' was removed, as was an entire scene where Peter leaves the girls' tent. Later releases feature the same edited print.

Not High Art But Very Funny

This certainly one of the better CARRY ON films which had me laughing out loud at the scene where the farmer is lecturing his pregnant daughter " You don`t know what his name was ? Couldn`t you have asked to whom do I owe the pleasure ? "

The door is knocked and the farmer answers it to a man wanting some milk : " Oh hello there. I was round earlier and your daughter gave me it . And I would like some more please , but don`t worry I`m willing to pay for it this time "
