Filmed in Gibsons, British Columbia, Vancouver, and other locations in Canada, according to What's Filming. The movie was originally going to be called A Carousel Christmas (or a Christmas Carousel). A few exterior shots, however, were filmed later at Martha's Vineyard to give a more authentic feel, despite the movie itself being filmed in Canada.

Goofs
While at the airport on Nantucket, in the background there is an announcement for a flight to Los Angeles. There are never any flights to LA from Nantucket by a regular carrier.

A pleasant Christmas movie

I liked the main character's spunk and Kathie Lee was surprisingly good (I expected an over the top performance, but she was charmingly low key). A predictable ending but we all know that going in. This movie didn't rock my world or anything but I enjoyed it.
