Today, Heroic Signatures announced the company is in production on its first animated feature film for its popular franchise, Mutant: Year Zero. Based on Mutant: Year Zero Road to Eden, a tactical adventure video game first released in 2018, the film follows an unlikely team of animal mutants as they navigate a post-apocalyptic wasteland in search of answers.
Dolph Lundgren and Ian McElhinney will lend their voices to the feature, with more talent to be announced soon.

Max Beyond tells the story of Max, a young boy held captive in a research facility. Anna Cathart’s Kitty Song Covey is ready to head to Korea in the first trailer for Netflix and Awesomeness Studios’ “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” spinoff series, “Xo Kitty.”
“Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love,” the show’s official logline states. “But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.”
The 10-episode series, which will premiere globally May 18 on Netflix, is executive produced by creator and co-showrunner Jenny Han, co-showrunner Sascha Rothschild and Ace Entertainment’s Matt Kaplan. The series is directed by Jennifer Arnold, Jeff Chan, Pamela Romanowsky and Katina Medina Mora.

Exclusive: Sofia Rosinsky (Fast Layne), Camryn Jones (Cherish the Day), Riley Lai Nelet (Altered Carbon) and Fina Strazza (A Christmas Melody) are set as the four leads in Amazon’s Paper Girls series, based on Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang’s graphic novel, from Amazon Studios, Legendary TV and Plan B. Paper Girls is set to film in Chicago this year.
Paper Girls follows four young girls who, while out delivering papers on the morning after Halloween in 1988, become unwittingly caught in a conflict between warring factions of time-travelers, sending them on an adventure through time that will save the world. As they travel between our present, the past, and the future — they encounter future versions of themselves and now must choose to embrace or reject their fate.
Rosinsky plays Mac Coyle. A working-class Catholic girl, Mac is the first paper boy in Stony Stream who isn’t a boy.

Travis Braun has entered an overall deal with Disney Channels Worldwide, Variety has learned exclusively.
Under the deal, Braun will develop and produce both animated and live-action content across Disney Channel, Disney Xd, Disney Junior, as well as Disney’s upcoming direct-to-consumer streaming service.
“Travis has created and written some of the most imaginative content for our audiences, spanning live-action and animation,” said Nancy Kanter, executive vice president of content and creative strategy at Disney Channels Worldwide and general manager of Disney Junior. “We are very much looking forward to this partnership and to

Disney Junior has given the green light to T.O.T.S., an animated comedy for kids age 2-7, for premiere in 2019.
Created by Travis Braun (Disney Junior’s Vampirina and Disney Channel’s upcoming series Fast Layne), T.O.T.S. is about the hilarious adventures of best friends Pip and Freddy, a tenacious penguin and a kind-hearted flamingo, who are the only non-stork delivery birds in-training at Tiny Ones Transfer Service (T.O.T.S.). As new members of the esteemed team, these junior flyers must take tender care in transferring baby animals – kittens, cubs, calves, bunnies, puppies and joeys among them – from the nursery to their forever families around the globe.
